Fire alarm went off at 6am throughout the building and scared everyone. Not a great way to start your day

My second time stay here. The handicap Roll in shower is the room for my mother. Huge room and bathroom, high ceiling. The lobby is so spacious and comfortable to spent some quiet time there. Always has fresh brew coffee (4 kinds) and hot water for tea option. You won’t always find this at most of hotels. The hotel so new and the room is extremely clean. Breakfast is excellent always for Hampton Inn, won’t disappoint!! Extra $35 for parking is normal for Austin because it is also a security garage. This is our always stay hotel at Austin.

Svea checked us in and she was extremely friendly and helpful. Took her advice for a place to walk to diner and drinks. Had a great time at Lazarus Brewing Co. within a quick walk. Hotel was modern, rooms were very comfortable. Shower was great, loved the soap and shampoo products. Had a microwave in room which was helpful. I was right next to the tracks and never heard the train (its like their rail system) so that is a plus for me! breakfast was tasty and checkout was easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything is brand new. The good: - blinds closing almost completely - Beautiful room with plenty of storage also in the bathroom - Shower gel and body lotion provided in the shower, but conditioner was empty from the beginning and never refilled during the whole stay The bad: - rather doubtful area - at least the so called on street parking - $35 for hotel parking per night is a rip off - A/C is super super super loud - Breakfast is industrially made stuff from packagings just heated up. - Pool way too small and cold and has dogs in the pool area - Many XL "list" dogs in the hotel. Didn't feel safe. - Bathroom door is implemented as barn door with about 1 inch gap all way around and according full view and smell to enjoy ... from outside (this alone could ruin the stay). Hence please avoid this place at any means. Will never come back.

One of the most pleasant places I've stayed at! The property is close to many great dining options, the staff were all extremely kind and helpful, and our room ( the hotel overall) was very clean and beautifully-decorated. Complimentary breakfast is always a plus, and all of the food at this location was delicious. Paying $35 per night for parking is the only slight I have with this hotel, but it's not too big of a deal when you consider how amazing everything else is. I'll definitely be staying again in the future!

To be honest, we were a littlw concerned when we pulled up, because of the area, but all was good. Chelsea and the other lady(did not get her name)behind the counter were amazing! They answered so many questions and got us taken care of efficiently. The breakfast team were wonderful too and there were so many options! Clean, quiet and comfortable in every way.

We were without electricity for an hour and a half, otherwise great stay.

Overall impression very positive. New property built in urban redevelopment area of East Austin. I liked the “green build” energy and water use efficiencies incorporated into the room. An adjacent parking garage was helpful. The first time approach to the entry is awkward and confusing. However, once understood makes sense. Checkin desk staff welcoming and helpful. Breakfast self-serve buffet very fresh and ample. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I would stay here again.

The property was great in every way, except that the area directly around the property felt less safe. However, the staff assured us it was safe and we did not experience any problems. It was an easy walk to all the restaurants and bars on 6th Street.

Very modern and super nice for Hampton. The area has nothing dining or store wise within walking distance. But it’s a 10 minute drive to downtown and 10-15 min to airport. Had a nice pool but I did not use it. Free Breakfast was decent too with made to order omelettes and waffles plus other standard stuff. Would stay here again. Shower water pressure was too low and AC was noisy so luckily I didn’t need it on most of the time. Very spacious room
