Good

Nice hotel, out of the city.

Excellent reception staff who helped us check in when i carelessly booked in a wrong month. We arrived so late, it was after dinner and he'd just taken care of it in a few mins!!

The hotel was fine and good value for money apart from the receptionist parking her car in the handicapped/disabled car space which I vacated to take my daughter to the rail station at 5:15 am and returned at 6:00 am. I note that she did not move her vehicle although I asked whos car it was and she proudly said that it was hers.

Return visit ideal to break a longer journey or too stay longer. Comfortable rooms safe location excellent breakfast

Not straightforward to find - hidden at the back of an industrial estate, but enclosed in a secure fenced area and very quiet being some distance from a busy road. Once there, the hotel is first class and well worth staying at if you want something that gives you everything you need - with a bit of style, and at a reasonable price. Well done ACE Hotel.

Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Very clean. Easy and free parking. Very safe area. The breakfast was good, not much variety for the price per person but the dining area was very clean and staff were friendly.

We've probably tried all the French chains over the years (though only when we could not find a nice small independent hotel or Logis de France). We'd not tried an Ace before and if Metz is representative it certainly is the best. A good sized room tastefully decorated with a comfortable big bed and good sheets etc and a well appointed bathroom. Breakfast was copious and of good quality (good coffee and tea, jam and butter, home made croissants, free range eggs etc). The location is uninspiring between a main road and a hypermarket with a rather circuitous route to enter. But it's soundproofing and air conditioning were good enough to put that out of mind and it's very accessible by car from main routes past Metz and (by car and by bus) from city centre. It won't make us use chains more but Ace would be our first choice if our travels require we use one.

The hotel is very clean and new. The bed and beddings are comfortable. They have air conditioning which is nice (not all hotels in Europe has them). There are no fridge, microwave or free coffee in the rooms. The buffet breakfast has a good selection for around 10 euros per person. You would need a car to get to this hotel or walk about 10 mins to the nearest bus station.

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.Staff was very friendly and informative.
