Peter and Stuart are great hosts who ensure your stay will be good. Bed comfy, heating and ventilation good, WiFi 100%, and a little fridge to store the fresh milk. Wonderful breakfast. From just outside their hotel, you can walk down through Peasholm Park during hot daylight hours and keep cool under the trees. We walked back up from the seafront on the well lit roadside. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay at The Outlook. We were very well looked after. The Owners are very welcoming and all of the extra little touches they provide make a big difference in making your stay perfect. Breakfast was lovely with great quality local produce. This hotel is also a perfect spot if you are travelling to Scarborough for the Open Air Theatre.

I don’t feel I could have chosen a better place to stay. We were greeted in such a welcoming & friendly manner, offered a drink & a lovely piece of delicious cake. The room was immaculately clean & lovely, with the added benefit of a mini fridge with a bottle of fresh milk inside for your drinks. Breakfast was exceptional & delicious, they went above & beyond for my son & it meant a lot & made it so special for him. Parking available is a great bonus as well. Peter & Stuart were both so friendly & attentive. They asked about our plans & gave great recommendations. Daily they asked us about our previous day & again passed on their great advice. Travelling with my son, it means so much when people interact with him as well as me & they did this throughout and it meant a lot to both of us. I can’t recommend The outlook enough & I will most certainly be going back.

The breakfast was all fresh cooked to order. Its home from home. Peter and Stuart where great hosts. The room was lovely and clean. Its situated in a nice area and a 5 minute drive to the town. I will definitely be returning. Thank you Peter and Stuart.

What an amazing stay from the moment we got there to the moment we left! Met with an offer of a drink and given some home made cake-thankyou Stuart! Breakfast was outstanding served by Peter. Will definitely be back!!

Hotel very appealing externally. We were offered hot drinks and lemon cake on arrival. Very nice room, big window, the room had a much needed fan, small en-suite and a very comfy bed. Mini fridge for milk and complimentary tea and coffee, lovely Border biscuits on arrival but these were obviously a one off as they weren’t replaced. Breakfast was plentiful, many options and very filling. Hosts very welcoming and friendly. There was a small bar too but when we wanted a drink before dinner it wasn’t open.

Very welcoming and friendly hosts. Complimentary cake and drink was offered on arrival. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bin in bedroom would have been better as bin in bathroom too small. Glass to window needs changing. Bottled water would have been appreciated. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to your liking. Personally we didn’t like dogs in the dining room and breakfast needs to be served earlier than 8.30am. Plenty of parking. The Outlook is located in a quiet area overlooking Peasholm Park. There is a front garden for guests to use.

Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts ,they looked after us exceedingly well from the tea and cake on arrival till departure

Absolutely excellent in every way, cracking owners/ Hosts. Wonderful breakfast and a splendid wee little bar for an evening tipple. Location is also excellent, literally across the road to Peasholm park then down to north bay. Will defo return if the chaps will have us !

Wow!! What a find!! Beautiful B n B . Perfect hosts with Peter and Stuart. Nothing is too much trouble. A lovely little bar with local brews/gin. Super comfy bed. Lovely toiletries in room. Hairdryer, plenty of sockets for charging phones etc. Superb hot waterfall shower. Dressing gowns in wardrobe. Super size fluffy towels. Beautiful fresh cooked breakfast along with a cereal/fruit/yoghurt /juice buffet. No pre orders for brekky (only porridge is to be pre ordered). Superb home made jams. Do not hesitate to book here....it's beautiful. Town is within 20 min walk. North bay and Peasholm Park are only a 5 min walk. Ideal base for coastal walking or visiting nearby towns etc. Added bonus of free parking at the rear (rare in Scarborough).
