Inexpensive hotel, small rooms. Clean, functional, and close to Blois

Convenient location to all of the Castles around Ambois and Blois. Hotel room was small but clean. The room would be fine for a 1 to 2 nights stay. Owners were very attentive and helpful. Definitely service oriented. Parking was plentiful as it was the low season and the parking spot was not tight, properly spaced for a regular 4 door sedan vehicle. I would recommend this place if you are visiting the Castles in this region of the Loire Valley.

Clean and spacious budget room. Bit of smoke smell and some noise, but excellent value for price.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful with information. Very convenient for the main routes in the area and close to local shopping facilities.

Stayed here for a long weekend to visit Cheverny and Blois Chateau's. The hotel looks a little dated but the owner and family were very hospitable and friendly, their professionalism and helpfulness were brilliant. The rooms were small, but the bed and shower were incredible - the comfortable bed was excellent, and the hot, powerful shower was better than several at high price new hotels. Also, there was very little noise, and an excellent wi-fi signal. (need to sign in everyday though). My partner was able to borrow a new hairdryer from reception and we used the microwave in the reception area on a few occasions - there is a retail park with a supermarket close by (and also several restaurants). We stayed for breakfast on our last morning and it was good value with several items to select from. This is definitely one hotel not to judge by its appearance - we would be happy to stay again.

Just an overnight stop. Hotel is little old but very clean and the owners were very helpful. Tasty breakfast. Good value for money.

My son and I spent 4 nights here in July 2018. A ‘no frills’ hotel which provides a good base for exploring Blois and the Loire region. Continental breakfast available for a v reasonable rate (€6). The proprietors are lovely, so helpful and friendly.

Basic, but does the job of providing a clean stopover very well have to say that the owners are really lovely and deserve a mention.

Nice motel with odd but clean rooms that worked for our family. Friendly, helpful staff. There's nothing great in immediate area though it's a short drive to Blois and Amboise.

Thought it was going to be a nice hotel but how wrong I was. This hotel needs a complete renovation, is old and does not look clean and comfortable.

This looks like an old Etap from the 1980's that is now run by a family. They seem lovely people, but sadly the hotel is very dated. Breakfast was also very meager.

This hotel was a very convenient stopover for one night having spent the day at the Château de Chambord. With free Wifi and parking and a good breakfast in the morning it suited our needs. The room and en suite were on the small side but clean and quiet. The family who seemed to run all aspects were very friendly and relaxed. (No lift, but at 43 euros a night, what do you expect?!)

The staff was very friendly, it was clean, but the beds were very poor/ bad / too soft and too low for an older person . Also the shower: if you are a big person you can't enter the shower
