Property needs updating & facilities are limited. Only offered a very late checkin which can be inconvenient. We met the owner at breakfast. Was vey friendly unlike the check in staff member

Just exactly what we needed as a landing spot near Skye! Service was wonderful and the breakfast was great with a beautiful view from our table. It’s not a large place, but I especially liked that about the property. If you’re looking for a place away from corporate hotels this is it!

This is a lovely and clean small hotel, with helpful hosts and delicious breakfast. We stayed 4 nights and loved it. Will definitely recommend and will come back again.

The Tingle Creek Hotel was a B and B . The hotel had plenty of room for parking and lots of communal areas where you sit and enjoy the view or the silence . They provided a list on eateries with contact details before we arrived which allowed us to select a suitable restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and the staff were very helpful about places to visit. Good place to stay.

Room was clean with comfy bed. They do not provide meals except for hot/cold buffet which was excellent. The hotel is nowhere near any eating establishments so means having to drive to nearest town.

Nice quiet little property. A little out of town but has wonderful views. Need a car to access dining options. Staff was very friendly and offered excellent touring advice.

Such a lovely hotel. They don’t do evening meals anymore but instead they give you a list of all the eateries and takeouts in the area and allow you to fetch them back to eat in comfort. Next time I am in this area this is were I will be staying.

A perfectly good place to stay, clean, comfortable and reasonable buffet breakfast. My problem was the cost for the facilities available. £170 per night for what is essentially a bed and breakfast place. Lovely gardens to sit in but no bar to get a drink to enjoy sitting out or to sit in the nice lounge in the evenings. It was quite soulless with no ambience or atmosphere to be honest which was a shame. No restaurant either but to be fair i knew that when booking, it just meant that there was no central place to see other people everyone disappeared. Not even a bottle of water in the room for that price and 1 packet of biscuits. I got the impression it was get the money in for as little effort as possible.

Clean, comfortable hotel in a lovely location. We enjoyed sitting out on the decking area to enjoy the peace and tranquility and the self serve breakfast was very tasty with a good choice of hot and cold items. The hotel is a short drive away from the beautiful village of Plockton.

What a lovely gem to luck into : close to the isle 0f Skye ( just over the bridge ) but well placed , quiet and proudly Scots ( great tartan i go in the corridor walls ). We hopped over the bridge for a meal then relaxed in the super clean rooms . There’s a great guest sitting room with lots of squishy sofas but we were too tired to enjoy . However , huge five stars to the breakfast ; ‘ full Scottish ‘ plus great tasting fruit salad and selection of breads , cereals etc Would absolutely stay string

This is an Hotel that now just operates as a B&B . It is quite spacious with great views of the water and across to Skye. The owners were very helpful and we were able to bring back food and use their dining room to enjoy our evening meal. The breakfast was buffet style but everything was fresh and good.

Helpful and friendly staff. Pristine location with full view of water and sunset. Linens immaculate. Room comfortable. Appreciated the coffee and teas and sweets. Breakfast was a delicious buffet in a beautiful glass room enclosure watching the sea. Common area was peaceful with opportunities to socialize or a quiet corner to read. 10 for cleanliness.
