The Black Lion Hotel is in a great location, interest individual art, clean, friendly welcome and very good food. The Black Lion was good value.

Staff were friendly and helpful . Bed was uncomfortable

The only thing was there was no where to fill kettle. I had to use shower head!!!!!!!!!!! And it was quite cold in the room

Lovely weekend stay. Its a lovely old building but very clean. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was amazing. We booked an evening meal in the restaurant which was good. Had a good nights sleep as the bed was very comfortable. It would have been useful to have a plug nearer a mirror for drying hair!

A great village pub that also offers accommodation. Food was excellent and better quality you would find in most pubs, and even some restaurants. Breakfast was nice also. All the staff are supper friendly. Bedrooms are up a flight of stairs and of course, in a village pub, there is no lift, so if you have problems climbing stairs. maybe not here. If ever we are in this area, we would have no hesitation in booking The Black Lion.

Location excelent but parking limited. Public parking is some way away. Breakfast good. Decent pub food at fair prices. Room 5 had a good view over the Church in winter quiet except for brief visit by large noisy Church group ! Building is old so expect that. Walsingham is unique and I certainly prefer the Black lion to the other Pub.

Not as good as others I have stayed at. Towels not changed 1st night. Bed not made. Not all staff friendly Breakfast excellent

Overall the room was comfortable and bed cosy. Room clean and had everythong you need for an overnight stay. Very limited parking so it was a bit of a fuss to park in the pay amd display up the road, but ended up ok in the end. Staff not overly friendly at breakfast when she was unable to serve a table of 4 at the same time as we had two separate bedrooms, so we ate at different times, which was a shame. The food was very nice, but wasnt really impressed with young lady serving.

Breakfast never had cereals available on the menu....but we had a good nights sleep!
