The best thing about this hotel was the staff. Absolutely first class and couldn't be more helpful. Being elderly we found the stairs to the bedroom rather difficult. We had originally been put on the second floor but when the young lady checking us in saw our problem she immediately tried to get us moved to the first floor. We were very grateful.

Great staff, very clean and lovely breakfast.

Rapid early check in to drop bags and collect key as attending wedding nearby. Clean, large room. Very comfy bed. Only downside was very hot room but fan was provided.

Great located hotel close to the railway station amd town centre. Breakfast was 1st class. Great pub. Rooms clean and tidy although the kitchen extractor ynit was directly outside my window.

Friendly staff. Room had everything we needed. Everywhere very clean. Super breakfast. Couldn’t fault it. It was our second time of staying the night before going on the ferry Very conveniently situated for us as 2 minutes from the station.

The staff were very helpful, assisting with our luggage. Breakfast was excellent. Service from all staff was of a very high standard.

The staff are very friendly and efficient Our two dogs were made very welcome. Food was excellent.

The staff were helpful and accommodating and the breakfast was really good, especially for my wife who has dietary challenges. The only downside for us was the tight and twisty stairs to the 2nd floor room when carrying luggage, but then we are in our 70's. Would stay again.

The room was so poorly sound insulated from the pub, that it was almost like having a bed in the bar.

Excellent place to stay. Refurbished rooms, very comfortable and well done. Food excellent and most importantly the staff couldn't do more to help. They were outstanding. One word of warning-if you park in the car park, expect the local birdlife to leave you numerous mementoes of your visit.

We had a great one night stay at the Bosun's Chair. Welcomed warmly on arrival and the room was really beautifully decorated and comfy and cozy at the same time. Nice size bathroom and lovely welcome touches of biscuits and water. And I would go there just for breakfast - the breakfast was top notch. Good options and wonderfully cooked. Would definitely stay again

Really lovely newly refurbished room. Great comfy bed and huge bathroom. All the staff were absolutely lovely and friendly and the breakfast was probably one of the nicest we've had. Will definitely return.

The pub was in convenient location just 3 mins from high street and harbour ..location quiet. Parking available and nice garden area. Thought it was a great place to stay.

Second stay here. Love the boujee rooms. Very comfortable would definitely recommend this place
