This is a nice hotel. The rooms are nice and clean and serviced well. But it felt like a ghost ship. The hotel was sparsely furnished in large communal spaces and sometimes I had to wander around the hotel to find reception staff who didn't always man the front desk. There was a TV on the wall but it was too loud and the small bar was always closed. Never saw anyone in the restaurant. It felt like a hotel in the process of being updated and only part way through the process. But the price was good for the rooms.

Air condition was fantastic on one of the hottest nights of the year.

Lovely hotel. Clearly in the middle of an upgrade. The room was brand new but the hallways and stairs were very 70s and worn. The staff were brilliant but burnt out. Example: I asked the receptionist about the bar being open and when I went to the bar (which is a maze like 5/10 mins walk away) the same person from reception popped up to serve me! 😅 it was like they were doing 5 jobs as one person. The food was Excellent and the alcohol very well priced. All in all I would go back for sure. 👍

After reading some reviews I was a bit concerned, but for a one night stopover this hotel is great. Large room, comfy bed, and most importantly for a warm night, very good air con. TV worked fine with good amount of channels. I arrived late in the evening (10:30pm) and the front reception staff were very friendly. The bar was open till 11pm, there were a few people in there still. The only negative is that the fire alarm went off a few times in the early hours, hopefully not a regular occurrence. Also, I couldn't hang up any clothes in the wardrobe as there were no hangers. A pleasant experience in a quiet hotel with plenty of parking. I'd happily stay here again.

A little tricky to find, but it does exactly what it says on the tin. Very comfortable and convenient location. Very satisfied.

Had a 2 night stay at the hotel in an Executive suite. The reception staff were very warm and welcoming & helpful. It was a business stay on a Friday and Saturday. Parking was good directly outside. Spacious room, very clean and tidy- the bed was absolutely huge and so comfortable it was very luxurious to sleep in after a hard days work. There was a beautiful wedding on at the hotel and looked so beautiful and glamorous, it was lovely to see. Very much enjoyed the stay & would definitely stay again. Staff have been cut to a minimum so often had to wait at reception for ages. The receptionist also seemed to be running the bar! The room was a great size (executive room) bit things were falling apart or not working. Tried a meal on Friday night but the (microwaved) fish and chips was uncooked inside. Got a refund and left. Plenty of potential but needs refurbishing and more staff. Also confusing: is this Ramada or Riverside?

A nice hotel with helpful & polite staff. Easy to find & seemed to be plentiful parking available. The evening meal and breakfast were both excellent and served to a high standard.

Lovely hotel can’t complain about anything really apart from maybe put hairdryers in room but room was nice and clean. Nice food, not very busy so can’t comment on how it fairs when busy but staff bent over backwards and very friendly so I would say they would most likely be the same if busy. Would stay again if in the area.
