Super friendly and local. Stayed open late for a late check in. Family run for three generations.

Very friendly welcome from the proprietor (& his mother). Nicely located adjacent to the village square & opposite the river. Easy parking for my motorcycle but could be tricky for a car. Old fashioned room that could be criticised but we prefer to call it "traditional character".

Easy to find hotel. Quick and easy check-in. Very reasonable price. Met Gaspard, the parrot. Unloaded car but parking 50m easy walk away. Lift to floor. Spacious, comfortable room had a balcony with view to street below - alongside the river - nice to sit with a drink and watch the town below. Lovely continental breakfast with extra treat - choux pastry one day, crepe the next; and coffee and hot milk served separately (good for those who like black, or milky coffee). The swimming pool is at another hotel along the street (100m) - very nice pool and gardens. Wifi in hotel but not strong in our room - best in the salon (lots of french books to read). Lots of shopping, restaurant and bar options nearby, some beside or over rivers. Bought food for picnic in the morning. Town very attractive with historic buildings. Easy to drive out of town for nearby attractions. Had a market when I was there and a film/music festival to follow. Quiet (apart from sound of river).

Two night stay wonderful region, friendly owners

Of the many hotels that we stayed in throughout this journey, I would rate this as one of the best. Though a little dated which from my perspective added to its charm, the room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the small town and the gorgeous mountain view. The room was clean with a generous supply of thick towels.

Very pleasant hotel in an idyllic location. Wish I had time to stay for more than one night.

Hotel charmant qui a son charme de l'ancien tout en étant très confortable et très propre. Le patron et sa maman et aux petits soins pour ses clients. Nous recommandons vraiment ce lieu qui à une âme.

Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent. L'accueil irréprochable même le jour de la fermeture de l'hôtel pour la saison. Les chambres sont très agréables, avec une petite terrasse qui donne sur la rivière. Le lieu est calme, le petit déjeuner traditionnel correct.

Très bel accueil gentillesse et précision accès libre

Je recommande cet hotel familial où tout est fait pour le bien être des hôtes. Le patron est incroyable: il est partout et organise tout avec bienveillance. La piscine à quelques mètres en temps caniculaires a été la bienvenue. L'hotel est situé à proximité de nombreux restaurants et est central dans la région.

Hôtel accueillant avec du charme qui change des chaînes impersonnelles. Salon bibliothèque à disposition permettant de se reposer et faire des rencontres. Il y a de tout comme livres, vous pouvez même en laisser. Personnel au top

Hôtel bien place bon rapport qualité prix. Toutefois, un effort soit être porté sur les salles de bains hors d âge et la salle de petit déjeuner également personnel sympathique. Rien a redire pour la propreté

Bon hôtel, très propre et très accueillant. Petit bémol concernant l’insonorisation et la décoration un peu datée. Par contre, le personnel est adorable et très serviable. Chambres très propres. Bonne literie.
