Breakfast was freshly cooked to order. It was very good. The bread was very disappointing, basic sliced white or brown only. Staff very helpful and well trained in bar and restaurant. Evening meal very tasty. Superior room with sea view was lovely and we enjoyed sitting in the window watching the waves on a very windy day. Bed very comfy, bathroom excellent, shower and bath and spacious.

Satisfactory welcome & check in. Great view from our comfortable room. Poor weather overnight was kept out & we slept well through the storm. Good food at dinner & breakfast. Friendly & professional staff service. Improvement works going on to the entrance did not inconvenience or disturb our relaxing stay. Friendly chat with reception staff upon leaving. Thank you.

Totally exceeded my expectations in every possible way. 1- staff. Reception particularly but also waiting staff 2 - room. Very clean and spacious 3 - food. We ate dinner and was a great no Nonsense menu with some innovative Welsh options. Breakfast was to die for. The lovely waitress made sure my lazy son had a bacon sandwich made for him. 4 - location. BEAUTIFUL. So, so good here and well done to all involved

We enjoyed our recent mini get away for a birthday treat. This was our first visit to The Gwbert Hotel. Quick and easy check in as it was done online before arrival. Lovely room with a sea view, which was spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee was well stocked with an added coffee maker. There was a small fridge in the room with bottled water too. The bathroom was a good size with bath and separate walk in shower. The large mirror in there had a light which was great for applying make up! The breakfast area was set up well with cereals and fruits. You help yourself to tea/ coffee and toast. Breakfast was served at your table with a good range to choose from. We had our evening meal in the restaurant both nights. There was a good choice available on the menu with specials available on both evenings. The staff were friendly and looked after us both nights. The large bar area had plenty seating which were comfortable and offered sea views during the day. You could eat within the bar area if you chose not to use the restaurant. Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were looked after very well and look forward to our next visit.

Stunning view, lovely clean room, high spec bathroom which was spotless. All staff extremely friendly and helpful, food very tasty in the restaurant. Really nice cosy vibes throughout the hotel. Only slight disappointment was the bed being very hard and quite uncomfortable, it was however a good size. Will definitely return.

Good standard of cleanliness. Bed was comfortable. More coat hangers would have been useful. Staff were very amenable. However there was no hot water avaliable in the evening which is not acceptable, particularly when you getting ready for dinner.

The view from my room was stunning, food great price and delicious big portions. Daphne, stay there again highly recommend

All very good, would have been excellent apart from one thing... Located at the bottom of a hill, when there is constant rain, there can be a smell of sewage from the drains in the bathroom. Not sure how they can fix it, but they gave us an air freshener, which helped. Long term it does need addressing though.
