This was a wonderful hotel. The owners are very friendly. More importantly, they are so knowledgeable about the area. We appreciated Sébastien‘s kind advice on the hiking routes. He was absolutely wonderful. We love the location of this hotel as well as it was close to restaurants and the main town center. Overall, we look forward to coming back again! Merci Sebastian!

Enjoyed all aspects of my week’s stay at this hotel. Food was excellent, room was large and comfortable. Lots of information available on walks in the area. The owner and her two sons, Sebastien and Philippe, were most helpful. I’d be delighted to stay again.

Comfortable place, slightly dated but fine. Only spent one night and was pretty tired. Decent dinner set menu. Value for money was good

It is excellent. The man gave the hiking information is much more detailed than the girl in the tourist office. Also, there was a problem about the WiFi in the first night, the man even shared his own phone hotspots for me. I was really appreciate what he did. And the problem solved the following day. The old lady is very kind too. When I went to Cauterets next time, I will stay this hotel again.

I would recommend the Edelweiss Hotel to anyone traveling in the Pyrenees. The owner and his mother run the place and were extremely helpful. He speaks fluent English and went out of his way to assist us daily. A very genuine and nice guy. The location to see the best sights is convenient. There were wonderful hikes to dramatic sites in the regions surrounding the hotel. The ONLY downside was the dirty towels we left on the bathroom floor were simply hung back up by the staff, to be reused. Their cleaning staff should know better. But our overall experience was a great one.

This is a great hotel in the centre of Cauterets, but down a quiet street. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I'll be staying there next time that I go to Cauterets.

Hotel typical small French hotel with menu of the day. Lovely rabbit but maybe not to everyone's taste. Warm welcome. We couldn't see much of the local area cos of fog!

Very Nice hotel. Lovely helpful staff. Ski Room downstairs. Wi-Fi not great but I think that is a function of being in the mountains rather than the hotel.

The Hotel Edelweiss has been recently updated and combines a fresh look and older charm. Phillipe and his family are helpful and interesting/interested. We learned a lot about the area and its history and got great ideas for hiking in the area, the main purpose of our visit.

Only had a night here but would have happily stayed longer. Very welcoming and comfortable with friendly staff. Even a lift which although tiny does the job of getting luggage to the room. Dinner and breakfast available aware packed lunches if you are skiing or walking.

Too old room

Manager was friendly and helpful. Room clean, comfortable, quiet. WIFI in room. Breakfast buffet with fruit, yogurt, breads, juice and hot drinks. Buffet was very nice. Hotel is Great value! Lift was large enough for two people and two bags. Stay was in early June 2012.

Bon rapport qualité prix et l’hotel est bien situé pas trop loin des télécabine et il a un local pour les skis ce qui est bien prqtique.
