A++++ stay will come again

Stayed here on a whim, travel a lot with work and try to pick small independent places where I can, usually with a pub. Unfortunately, the pub was shut as it was a Monday, but I just crossed the road and went there for food and drinks so no problem. The room was beautiful, bright, very clean and very spacious. It looked newly decorated and done very tastefully, felt like I was staying in a stately home, not the local boozer! I mentioned to some locals I was working with that I was staying here and they didn’t know there were rooms above the pub… so definitely need to shout about it! Quality teas, coffees etc and generously stocked. A bit of a novelty and very welcomed when you spend so much time in hotels. Next time I’m in Darlo I’ll be staying here, so comfortable and conveniently located.

Little hiccup on checking in soon sorted. Lovely room great bedding and decor. Pod coffee machine and wonderful people running the place

great room right in the middle of town, lovely host, struggled a bit with TV channels and WIFI. but Chris in the bar was very helpful
