Great dinner and superb staff. Room was ok, but looked out onto a building site so balcony was not perfect! Also, loved the bar area.

We were very disappointed with our room. We were assigned to an annex building about 200 m from the main hotel, and our bedroom was quite small, with the toilet and shower being in separate rooms, although the shower somehow leaked into the toilet room. On first entering the room, we found it smelly but fortunately the smell dissipated after we left the window and door open for an hour. However, we were concerned that on arrival there were dozens of flies in the room, which Google Lens identified as "drain flies". These were easy to swat but they were rather disgusting. We had dinner that evening in the main building and it was an excellent meal with good service from staff. On the other hand, breakfast the next morning was chaotic, with uncleared tablets and a non-functioning coffee machine. Our conclusion was this was a good place to go for dinner, but a really poor place to stay the night.

The hotel was in a small village about 1 km from a lake The region has many woodlands and forests so it’s a very attractive area to explore by bike or on foot. The hotel has a nice quality restaurant

Had the impression they were swimming at the nearby lake, which is a main reason we selected this location, but when we got there the water at 2 Lake locations was so dirty we would not get in. Advertising said it was non-smoking facility yet people sitting next to us in the restaurant were smoking. Restaurant service could use some improvement, had to ask for bread, but they were serving it to everybody else. Beautifully plated great food. Didn’t pour first glass of wine; room was neat and clean, found it interesting that there was no sheet on the bed, just a heavy comforter which was too warm for the night. Generally a lovely stay though.

We stayed here as we wanted to visit the memorial at Verdun, it's only a few kilometres away. On arrival, we were met by a very helpful and cheerful manager who tested our French! The room wasn't in the hotel itself, but at an annex two minutes away. Everything was clean, tidy and quiet, the bed was comfortable. We walked back up to the restaurant for our evening meal which was superb. The food and staff were first class and it was a pleasure to eat there.

Only stayed for one night and we were put in the annex which was a short distance from the main building,as such there was no bar or anything. This wasn't a problem for us as we were mobile.I personally stayed in the two story part of the annex with no problem but my two friends were in two of the single story rooms. They had no hot water either on arrival or departure, the staff knew of this but didn't bother to inform us !! Bad form in my opinion ! No discount or anything was offered either,we only found out that they knew when we went to the main building to pay !!

Room musty...maybe from stale tobacco smoke. Otherwise large comfortable room. Great location to see American monuments from First World War...near Montsec monument and St. Mihiel American Military Cemetery and not too far from Verdun. Excellent restaurant. Friendly staff.

We were warmly welcomed, and our dog was also made very welcome. We were given the room nearest to the front door as our dog is very infirm, for which we were very grateful. We were warned that the room was small. It was refurbished, and very tastefully done, but it was indeed very small. Two adults and one dog was not very easy! The evening was was extremely good, and the restaurant very lovely. Breakfast was outstanding, and served in another lovely room.

The hotel doesn't have many rooms. They're comfortable and basic. The restaurant offers delicious food and good wines. Don't be fooled by the low room price. There are taxes and such. Besides, you'll want to eat here. The breakfast alone has a complete selection of European favorites. The staff is friendly and helpful.

A very pleasant location and a well run hotel. The restaurant menus were fine, but for us the food was a little overwhelming.

Such a warm and friendly welcome even though we arrived after hours close to midnight! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were fabulous. If you're going to see World War I battlefields in France, plan on staying here.
