Great nights stay. Good tremendous

The King's Head, Usk is a great place to choose for a night or a longer stay in the area. I was very happy with it: the staff are unfailingly friendly, polite and helpful, the meals are excellent and of generous proportions and the rooms are very pleasant - very clean, comfortable bed and nice touches like a coffee machine which actually works well! One gripe: the beautiful en-suite bathroom had a shower screen which was not big enough to stop the floor from flooding. The bathroom became very wet and damp and no matter how careful I was I ended up soaking the place - loads of damp towels and bath mats everywhere.

Amazing Place! Hidden Gem, a warm welcome, clean comfortable room and the food amazing! Travelling alone it can be daunting, not here I was made feel i had been before, looking forward to my next visit already 10/10

The Kings Head is great accommodation in a pub which serves really good food, extremely large portions. Walking distance to Usk Castle.

All the staff were good and helpful. In particular was Darcie who was so helpful and had great people skills. Coffee machine in the room was nice. Only 1 teabag and zero teaspoons which was the only complaint. Food was large and good.

We stopped over here on our way from south Wales back to the north west of England. It was a great choice. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The bathroom was excellent. We also had dinner and breakfast here and for each meal the food was excellent. The staff were great too. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

The accommodation was spotlessly clean. Rooms were well-appointed with fabulous bathroom and quality toiletries. Tea pigs tea and Tan y Castell Welshcakes were a cut above, as well as Ty Nant bottled water. The mattress and pillows were lovely quality. Rooms had minimalist furniture creating uncluttered calming space. The full Welsh breakfast was impressive, cooked to order. Unlimited juices, cereal and toast. Friendly, efficient staff. Car parking onsite. A lovely stay. Will recommend to friends and family

Room was clean and tidy but the obvious recent refurb was done really well and we were very impressed with the room for the money spent. Customer service was also excellent.
