Welcoming and friendly reception staff

Fabulous tower room worth the extra money. Only down side was wifi wasn't particularly very good in the tower room. Lovely pool, sauna etc and nice to have adults only time. Breakfast plenty of options and excellent quality produce. Definitely coming back again

Very enjoyable. Lovely hotel and surroundings. Would have liked the choice to be able to eat in another restaurant for dinner. As we usually eat at 8pm and other restaurant was closed. But in all very wonderful two nights at Bowood.

Our first visit and a really wonderful overnight stay for our Anniversary. From the moment we arrived we just knew this was going to be a great experience and nothing disappointed. The room was lovely, very clean and with good amenities. The spa pool and facilities are great, the restaurant excellent and the complimentary access to Bowood House and Gardens much appreciated and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit after check out. The staff are what really sets this hotel apart, every interaction from the simple to the complex somehow seems to exceed your expectations. Everyone was efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and seemed proud to work at Bowood. The whole atmosphere at Bowood is something that must have been very hard to create and must take significant effort to foster. We felt like we’d be coming here for years after only a few hours, and we can’t wait to come back.

A lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds, with views of the golf course. It's a nice walk to Bowood House to see the fantastic gardens. Many thanks to Silvo for looking after our dietary requirements.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast waitress particularly so. Pool/spa/gym area is smaller than expected and looking tired. Evening meal was disappointing and quality did not match the prices. A strawberry parfait with one small strawberry cut into four alongside a cube of ice cream for £10? Steak was quite small and bland. Peppercorn sauce was very thin/watery. Breakfast was great though.

Excellent hotel awful parking

Bowood is absolutely stunning. This is probably the 5th or 6th time we have stayed here and every time the service is outstanding. The staff can't do enough for you and it was a real treat to be recognised for a return stay with a bottle of prosecco in our room. The pool area is lovely - very quiet with no issue getting a lounger and the view across the golf course and woods is dreamy! The walks around the estate are stunning with the added bonus of being able to visit the house and gardens. Another wonderful stay!

Beautiful location, modern hotel. Comfortable, spacious room with balcony and view to the park. Good food range. Friendly staff.

Excellent stay, great spa facilities, spacious rooms, lovely food. Me and my partner stayed for bed and breakfast for one night, the breakfast was so filling and tasty. The hotel itself is very clean, the staff couldnt do enough for you, very polite and accommodating. You definitely get what you pay for 🙂

Great spa: clean and nice, wonderful area with gold fields and deers, modern spacious rooms with all the amenities.

Always good to stay with spa option coupled with walks around golf courses. However I did not enjoy food and rooms had water and door mechanical issues.

Would definitely go back. Lovely indoor pool, very friendly and efficient staff. Good rooms. Good breakfast.

Excelent time was in room 101 which is probably nearest to the bar, so nocic can be heated from the bar area.
