Absolutely beautiful family set of rooms, stunning view of St Michael’s Mount, w causeway right outside. Unfortunately, windows covered w scaffolding and workmen starting on our 2nd day, making bathroom without curtains unusable. Reception unhelpful (blamed property company) until the last day of our complaining when they offered a small discount on our stay (but still didn’t cover window). Although we received notice a week or two before our stay that this was happening, that doesn’t really describe how drastic a problem this was for our room. Drilling, hammering, curtains closed all day and men on roof next to another bedroom working on the building exterior. Should have been called and compensated fairly if we kept that room (11). Going on for 6 weeks, reportedly. Mainly affects beach-facing rooms (some face road, those likely fine). The restaurant attached is very nice, short staffed during our stay, but great dinner, good breakfasts (hot and cold included), sometimes a longish wait. Had to wait to be seated one morning bc they were still cleaning dining room from prior night. Have to make dinner reservations for weekends, many on Sunday turned away (including us) bc kitchen reportedly overwhelmed. Also has outdoor seating near beach, and downstairs bar/food area when busy. Parking free if you book direct, we had to use long term lot a couple blocks away through Expedia but safe. Hospitality, overall, not great but place itself is beautiful.

Our sweet the Penzer Point had the Best View of Saint Micheal’s Mount! And the deep round window made the view event more spectacular. The restaurant was great as well, the breakfast def worth having on our way out!

This hotel is in a great position overlooking st Michael’s mount. The beautiful long beach is right on your doorstep. Staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, tidy and very comfortable. Food at the hotel is of excellent quality with plenty of choice.

The room was ok for an overnight stay but any longer and it needs comfy seats, not just a bed, to sit on. The curtain had been pulled off the rail on one side, so did not close easily, but the bathroom was roomy and very clean! The staff are delightful - very professional and helpful... They clearly like dogs at The Godolphin and accommodate them with flair! We sometimes feel dogs are just tolerated, though not here.....!! The food was just ok.... (dare I say even disappointing) the single boule of ice-cream @ £3 was tiny and under-delivered - why not charge £5 and give 2 decent sized boules? Prudence was a "stand out" member of staff and a credit to you!

Arrival was very good, receptionist helpful and knowledgeable when asked for location of places in Marazion. A double room implies it's for two people but there was only one chair in the room (Lamorna) there was only one mug in the bathroom. We returned late on our last evening to find the bed had not been made, neither the bedroom nor the bathroom had been cleaned or tidied. The restaurant menu seemed over keen on food with chilli or curry flavourings and waiters and waitresses, although pleasant were dressed in jeans and t-shirts, which was off-putting and not welcomimg.

Beautiful location , and hotel is stunning overlooking the sea . Sadly our room had previously been used by a smoker and it smelt awful , outside the window were used cigarette ends , shame this was not noticed by the cleaning team but we did report it !! The breakfast on the first morning ( full English ) was overcooked the bacon was so crispy it snapped , and the meal was dry and cold ? We asked for a second coffee but it never materialised so we left . Did not go for a cooked breakfast on the 2nd day and noticed the other guests ,had left a lot of their food . The food totally let the place down and its expensive , change of cooking oil is a must , and recommend the chefs have a re train . The receptionist s were very helpful and informative.
