This is a basic English pub with rooms above. Located on a quite busy main street and bus route. Small free car park. No electric charging stations (Morrisons is nearby).

Lovely big room cleaned everyday fresh towels tea, milk coffee etc bed linen plenty of storage excellent

Rooms need some TLC, no air conditioning and due to ground floor room facing main road, no safe ability to have window open.

Nice stay. Spacious family room. Great atmosphere in the bar area. Paid to have breakfast which really was not great so wouldn't have that again but would book a room here again.

Comfy beds, nice clean and tidy and a good shower, that’s all I needed. Very good! Thanks

The hotel itself was really nice and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. We booked food as well and it was outstanding. Quite possibly the nicest pub food I’ve ever had.

Very nice room, very clean. Good breakfast! Good tea facilities. If you want a soak in lovely big bath bring your own bubbles

Ver noisy in the street late, Only one toilet roll for 3 people . Only 1 bath towel between 3 No pillows for pull out bed

Was in room 5. Been in this one before. Room is fine apart from being close to kitchen and fan did not stop until 1130 pm and started again before 7am.

Always a great stay. Staff are excellent. Food and drink is good. Recommend a family room 😁👍

We were met by very pleasant young man who explained everything very well. The food was very good and reasonable price. Rooms and beds were very clean and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious, and the continental breakfast choice, is one of the best i have ever seen - so much choice. Serving staff were very customer focused and Laura particularly was very helpful and pleasant. Plenty of car parking. would most certainly stay here again in the future. Well done to what appears to be a young conscientious hospitality team .

My daughter and I booked and paid for a family room at the Coleshill Hotel as we were meeting up with friends in Birmingham and there were no twin rooms available. We were fine with this as we would then have plenty space to have drinks with our friends before going out and when we came back (our friends were also booked at the Coleshill). When we went to our room, it was a double room so I went back down to reception to let the, know there had been a mistake. She informed me that they had no family rooms left, I persisted saying that they had taken the booking so it must have been available when we booked it. She mumbled something about how sometimes companies like hotels.com don’t always tell them what size of room is booked, She then said she’d check to see if she could swap me into one of those guests hadn’t arrived yet. I was then informed that the bookings beside the family rooms had ‘must not be moved’ beside them. I let the receptionist know that I was unhappy with the situation and that I wanted a refund of the extra amount paid for the family room. I then spoke to the hotel manager who promised me that he would refund one nights stay for me but that it would need to wait until the Monday morning because it had been booked through hotels.com. Two weeks on and still no sign of a refund. Shocking way to treat paying guests. There is no way of contacting hotels.Com directly about this and the hotel clearly aren’t interested in sorting it. Won’t be back

Lovely room although a little conscious of walking around too much as the floor really creaks in places and I j own how annoying it is when you are the person staying below. A broken window has been poorly fixed with wood leaving a gap of around 7mm at the bottom. Had asked for a quiet room which it is until the birds start singing at 5 am.

Good central location on main street plenty of night time places to visit.

What a great hotel. If it had some money spent on it. Staff really friendly. Food poor Microwaves are us. Scampi who can get that wrong. They did. Tv too small and poor signal. No WiFi in room. Come on Green king you are a 2.1billion pound company. This place could be a gem. Where you could charge more if you get the food etc right.

Stayed here following a near by wedding. Pretty average but clean and friendly staff. Rooms could do with upgrading.
