Like a youth hostel but in a good way. Very relaxing.

Great place to stay if you need to be close to the University. Staff is generally friendly and helpful, but mattresses could be improved by installing mattress toppers.

I stay there most weeks as i have to go to Leeds for work. I like the location and most staff members. However I feel their mattresses would benefit from the installation of mattress toppers as they are spring mattresses and some would require to be changed. Dusting in rooms could also be improved.

The 3 person family room we had at Hinsley Hall was excellent value for money, very clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed (including an excellent buffet breakfast); staff were friendly and helpful too. The rooms are quite basic / spartan, so don't expect anything too fancy. Excellent car park too!

Friendly staff, impressive architecture and excellent breakfast! Would definitely stay again next time Ikmin Leeds.

Great location

Staff good. Room good and fairly spacious for single. On negative note no kettle for my tea. Need water often. Television though small had many channels. One room had coffee machines and plenty teas etc. also water. It was spotless and in bathroom the hot water was boiling hot. Room warm but turned room up on evening. Enjoyed stay.

The usual standard of room and friendly check-in, but an unfortunate experience on the first night when the fire alarm went off at around 1:50am. The person on duty was clueless, didn't make himself known, didn't know how to operate the fire alarm panel, and made no attempt to evacuate guests from the building. It was a guest who eventually silenced the alarm and reset it, and we were then left in the dark as to whether it was a false alarm and if it was safe to go back to bed. To make matters worse, when I finally got back to sleep I awoke to no heating and lukewarm hot water, which was likely unrelated but the person then on duty knew nothing about the problem. Clearly some training is required. Otherwise OK

Bed is extra hard. Fire alarm went off at 2 am and night staff was not able to silence and reset for over 25 minutes. Breakfast could be available until 9:30-10 am. No hair dryer, no fridge

Hinsley Hall is an amazing place! I felt like I was staying with my family. The rooms are clean and they gave me everything I needed. It is so peaceful and quiet. I want to go back in the summer again to enjoy the entire property. 😊

Beautiful building in good location close to city centre. Rooms were clean, comfortable and warm. Breakfast was very good and staff were friendly and welcoming. Outstanding value for money, would definitely stay here again
