Possibly the worst place i have stayed in. The room was filthy, although the bedding was clean. Skirting board was extremely dirty, the carpet hadn't been hoovered. Tea and coffee stains on the work surface. Bins not emptied. Curtains didn't draw properly. Windows filthy.

Very good value, good location and safe parking. A cooked breakfast would have been nice but you can’t have everything can you?

Avoid I stayed here for a couple of nights, never again!! It's used by the council & IF you are lucky enough to get hot water, the water is like someone spitting at you. It's like a BAD contractor hotel

If you’re scrolling for a hotel PLEASE KEEP SCROLLING. Absolutely disgusting & filthy. In the words of my partner, “if we had a dog, I wouldn’t let that stay here ……” To get into the room we had to move bags of rubbish outside the actually room to start with. Walked in and found a towel used by the previous guests still in the bathroom ( and we could tell as it was dirty and stained ) . The room was stuffy with no air and couldn’t open the windows as painted closed. The view was of the dilapidated car park …. The bed had springs that creaked with every tiny movement and sticking up beyond the mattress. The carpet was stained and the rooms paintwork was dirty, chipped and a ‘lovely’ hue of yellow, where once it should’ve been white ! We did complain and asked for a refund, which came from Expedia but in the princely amount of £30…… But the hotel seemed to have not cared less… Makes me wonder if Expedia actually check any of their hotels on the website as I’m sure if any reputable travel site actually saw this with their own eyes, they’d have taken this down and not advertised it. We ran so fast that in hindsight we wished we’d taken photos as seeing is believing.

This is a low-price hotel that offers clean, comfortable accommodation that's close to the Channel Tunnel. It's not a modern hotel but represents great value for money. Our room was cozy, but not cramped. It had a pleasant view of the beach. The bed was comfortable and there's plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Free parking is a bonus (many hotels in the area charge extra). The staff were all very friendly and attentive -- we felt welcome and well looked after.

This place was certainly unique! From the pink and red contrasting wallpaper to the old musty smells there wasn’t much to be excited about, although for the price I shouldn’t expect 5 ⭐ luxury but had hoped for better. The bedroom decor was something to be marvelled at, whoever came up with the black/grey scheme with a pine wardrobe painted black must have an interesting mind. The shower was horrendous and while the water barely trickled out it either scalded you or froze you to death. The brown carpet however was on another level! It looked like it had its own ecosystem and decided not to walk on it barefoot, I recommend nobody else does too. Apart from that it was a good location and had a great weekend, mostly because I wasn’t in the room.

The hotel was clean and functional, the building needs a bit of work (floor was sloping in the room) but cheap and cheerful, staff were friendly and helpful.

Arrived, parked and checked in ok. Reception were helpful. Location of the hotel is nice right on the front. Now for the negatives... The hotel is dated and dirty. There is an old musty smell in the corridors and rooms. The room itself was dirty. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned and there were still old drink bottles under the bunk bed. The wallpaper was all hanging off and there was mold up the wall. The old green bath and stained brown toilet looked like something from the 1970s. I wish I took pictures. 2 of the plug sockets didn't work. We were there for one night on a pit stop before getting the ferry. So we chose to just get our heads down and check out as early as possible. We were by no means expecting 5*, but I wouldn't even give this 1. Avoid avoid avoid.
