This is without the best hotel in its class. I could not say anymore. If you need hotel around the Newport / Cardiff this should choice without question. I have travelled extensively worldwide and this place is like coming home

Great room clean and quiet

Very friendly welcome and lovely clean and comfy room. Staff were very accommodating, especially Brenda & Gwen on reception and the young man serving at the bar. Would definitely use again on another visit to Wales.

Great location only 25 minutes outside Cardiff city centre. But I wasnt made aware of the overnight parking charge when booking which was a bit frustrating £13

Hotel was nice silly price for parking rooms nice but pillows were horrible lumpy and felt CHEAP

The bedroom and facilities in the bedroom were of a high quality although we could have done with more tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. The shower was excellent being larger than usual and quality shampoo/soap.

This is a lovely new hotel with extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Shame about the extra charges for parking

Spot on Hotel stayed Sat 14th Feb 2026 Played 2010 course Sunday. Moved to Celtic Manor Hotel for Sunday night.

It was convenient here and room was clean but I don’t feel it was explained enough about the parking fee and I was actually totally unaware until arrival and also a £50 room charge (which is refundable) and breakfast was nice but then had a hair in my mouth.

An excellent team working at this hotel. This was my third visit to Ty Hotels. The improvement from my first visit to now has been impressive.

Excellent location right my the M4 if traveling East or West, very clean throughout, housemaid every day ensuring your room was spotless on return after a long day. Excellent facilities on site, the casa restaurant and bar served good food and drinks. All the staff I encountered are first class. Paid parking every night is what most hotels do now these days. But very secure. Excellent rates per night, would not hesitate staying here again.
