I choose to stay here because of the price and other comment reviews were decent. This is an older motel with some updates. Which was not the issue. When we entered our room the floor was sticky. So everywhere we walked our shoes were sticking to the floor. The bathroom door had no door knob. The night stands were dusty and one even a had what looked like chip crumbs. The restaurant /bar next door played very loud music most of the night and also had a DJ. Truthfully I'm still shocked we stayed but it was non refundable so we stuck it out one night of 2. Got up early the next morning, didn't even shower and check out. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Hampton Inn just up the road.

**DO NOT STAY IN THIS PLACE** The whole place smells like a strange mixture between drvgs and vomit. The door didn't close from the inside and not to mention the bathroom, which was full of mold. The shower had white particles that we didn't know what it was about. We were only there the time necessary to find a better place to stay. We would NEVER go back.

The first I was assigned had full trash cans and dirty towels on the bathoom floor. I went to the front desk to request a different room, which was provided. The room was stifling. No AC had been left on. The door didn’t close tightly and the jam was cracked. The floors were dirty and the shower so nasty I didn't use it. I brought in my own pillow and blanket and dealt with it. Pretty hypocritical for them to charge me a pet fee for my dog when the room was a disaster to begin with. When I went to check out I thought to get my "free" cup of coffee. The coffee maker was gross and no cups. I guess I dodged what was probably horrible coffee.

It was convenient to get to the National Park. Our air conditioning did not cool the room

I asked for a second set of sheets to lay on the bed because i was pretty sure mine were dirty and was told they didn't have any but they had large towels I could use. TV remote didn’t have batteries and my shower didn't get warm. Otherwise friendly staff, easy check-in and convenient for the price.

Everything was good. Nice and friendly staff members 👍.

Clean quiet location and outside the little power outage, someone took out a power pole, it was a great stay.

This Propert could have so much potential if they would do a better JOB of cleaning .. the sheets are HEAVLY STAINED. The walls in the rooms are busted with holes and stained . Towels are very stained .. they may need to change the washing products they use or use BLEACH to clean the bacteria . Around the property could be cleaned a little better it’s Smells of Smoke Very badly and animals

Old building, lots of damage and wear, shower was gross with bits crumbling, heater did not work in room.

Just a quick get away for overnight date night.

Dirty room, bathroom probably wasn't up to code (creative shower), door not very secure, broken windows and doors through out, never got hot water in the shower

Nice cheap staycation spot.

Unfortunately, we had a struggle to get hot water and heat. Neat and clean, nice beds. Thank you.

Shower was definitely the worse thing about the room. It was alright but I suggest just paying the extra 20 or so bucks and you can get a much nicer room close by

Just like my first stay, clean, comfy room and friendly, helpful staff. They are also honest in their relationship to guests. I like that! I will stay in the future and it's my first choice now when I go to Portage.

The representative gave me a key to a room where the door lock was splintered like it had been 'jimmied'. The window to the outside (on the 1st floor)was majorly cracked. I insisted on a new room where the lock was not working. In the room the TV only gets 1 channel

Staying here for work, has been relatively quiet. Staff is freindly and courteous, building and grounds are clean. Room is spacious and beds are comfortable.

It was close to why we went to portage.
