It’s a lovely small cottage suitable for a couple, close friends or relatives. The kitchen is separate and stocked with all the equipment likely on a holiday stay. The bathroom is also its own room, clean, shower only, no bath. The final room is the bedroom and sitting room, 2 good single beds, 2 comfy armchairs. There is a TV and DVD player. This is in rural west wales, phone signal is poor, it’s ok outside in the car park but in the cottage itself virtually none, probably due to the original thick stone walls. If you want to stream video I suggest a long charging cable for your phone a waterproof cover to put it outside and a plan that allows you to hotspot. Easier option, download before going or take DVD’s, there is a player. There is a large amount of land that you can use, effectively 2 large lawned gardens, well kept with pretty flowers and benches to sit out. The cottage is attached to the owner’s home, they greeted us with a small tour and respected our privacy after that, but were polite and helpful when we did ask Questions. The approach roads are thin and windy, drive carefully and be prepared to reverse or pull well over to get around. Overall, a really good place to stay

This booking was a disaster. Due to medical emergency had to cancel Contacted Hotels, com to say wasnt going and tried to get the booking deferred but the client would not allow it. The client is not the pleasant couple who own the property but a company in Holland with a 1 star reputation. On booking got a flood of e-mails and documents from Holland with a huge list of does and donts. The contract was with Hotels.com not some company that would never have chosen to do business with. Contacted the Dutch company to say wasn't coming "in case the host was left looking for us on our due date". Got an e-mail back in Dutch. IAftee complaining to Hotels.com about the confusion they apologised. On the night of arrival, got a worried phonecall at 9pm from the hosts asking if we were coming. Neither company had told them I wasn't arriving! Later got an e-mail from the Belvilla in Dutch asking if enjoyed our stay. I use Hotels.com because I trust them and their cancellation policy, I feel that Belvilla using Hotels.com as a front is a misrepresentation.
