Disappointing Value for Money. As a frequent business traveller, Berkley fell far short of the listing. The aparthotel is extremely basic. The furniture is noticeably cheap and worn, the décor is uninspiring, and the overall space feels unappealing. For the nightly rate, this represents poor value compared to competitors in the area. More concerning was a security issue. After going to bed at 9:30am, I was woken at 10am by a staff member knocking and asking to access the room for something. I refused, but discovered the door had no internal lock or chain, only the main lock. This felt like a genuine security risk and left me uncomfortable for the remainder of my stay, worried they might try again. The location is great, which makes the indoor experience all the more disappointing. For business travellers seeking comfort and security, I'd recommend looking elsewhere in this price bracket.

Good apartment only 2 stops on the tube from Kings Cross

The window wouldn't close, there was no way of blocking the light out, the halls were very noisy. I didn't feel very safe

Clean, compact and easy to get to. A little noisy on Saturday night. For a short stay fine.

Awful accommodation. Not as advertised in the description, the photos were absolutely misleading. The property was not clean, hair everywhere. Shower gel or shampoo was empty and noone to find within the propert to ask for a refill. Advertised as accommodation for 4 people, but not enough space for 4 people to be in the same living space at the same time. Photos showed beds to be separate, but all beds (1 double and 2 singles) were under the roof cramped together, no privacy for 4 adults who are not used to be sharing a cramped sleeping space together.

Fantastic facilities, everything you needed including a washer dryer. Very helpful and friendly staff, great location as we where visiting a venue at Hoxton square , plenty of shops bars coffee shops nearby, one tiny negative, our bathroom was very small, a couple of hooks for towels would be useful, overall we would highly recommend

The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful, I definitely recommend this spot. It’s super close to 2 stations and incredibly close to plenty of markets and restaurants! Blacklock is incredible!!

Where to start. Room was tiny. Bed was tiny. The air freshener in the hallways was so overpowering that it almost took my breath away. Unfortunately the smell was also in the room. We couldn’t stay. A ‘deposit’ of seventy five pounds was taken - not clear why and still waiting for it to be released on card. If you want to leave your bags early they want twenty pounds! Seriously !? They absolutely refuse to refund - My advice to anyone reading this is to go somewhere else. Disaster.

The property manager was very responsive when we had an issue with the hot water, even though it was late at night. The stairs are a lot if you have a lot of luggage.

The location of this property is excellent and one of its strongest features. The room was clean and the common areas were well maintained. However, the room itself was noticeably smaller than the photos suggested, which created unrealistic expectations before arrival. The most disappointing aspect of the stay was the reception/concierge service. Communication was often difficult and I found the attitude unhelpful and dismissive when assistance was required. Rather than feeling welcomed as a guest, I felt that requests were treated as an inconvenience. This significantly impacted my overall experience. Future guests should take extra care not to misplace their room key. Based on my experience, obtaining assistance from reception in that situation was unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. A hotel should provide professional and helpful support when guests encounter common issues, and I did not feel that standard was met during my stay. The excellent location, cleanliness and facilities prevent this from being a poor property overall, but the customer service experience was well below what I would expect from accommodation in London.

Dirty, scruffy and in need of a total overhaul plus there was a cat outside my room which was on an upper floor and they refused to refund the next night saying it was a pet friendly hotel, awful.

This place was a great find. Fully equipped kitchen, clean room, and a great location

Good size apartment with amenities. Located on the 3rd floor (I believe) within the Shoreditch neighborhood.

GOOD LOCATION FEW MINUTES WALK FROM OLD STREET TUBE , SEVERAL BUS ROUTES AND RETAIL FOOD AND EATERIES. MAINLY QUIET STREET AND ROOM HAD EVERY FACILITY IN SMALL BUT ACCEPTABLE SPACE.

We stayed 3 weeks in total. The place was clean and well managed. It was very good to have kitchen and a washing machine for our long stay. Unlike most air bb we have stayed, there was a front desk person who were helpful and we could ask any questions we had in person. Housekeeping staff was excellent! They were very nice and changed our towels, linen, and emptied our bins often. It is located in very fun and lively area not super touristy. A lot of street arts along with few Banksy sites. Walking distance to great restaurants and bars. Not far from Brick lane. Highly recommend especially for a long stay.

Great location, great price, a real home away from home with everything I needed for a work visit.

A comfortable bed and a neat kitchenette in a convenient location. Some of the furniture in the circulation areas was a bit tired. Nice house cat!

Was able to check in late which was stress-free. Fantastic location, really loved exploring the area! Kitchen came equipped with the things you need if you wanted to cook, but the room was quite small so I didn’t do any cooking. Though the fridge/freezer was great so I could at least have breakfast. Would recommend!
