I love when they upgraded me from a family room to a family suite. Unfortunately, my room had no bath towels. We complained, but housekeeping very fast delivered the towels immediately. We requested another bottle of drinking water and asked housekeeping to throw out the rubbish because the basket was full. They delivered the drinking water, but said they would come and collect the trash later but did not come.... Breakfast, food was OK... But the space is too small. People have to wait in a very long queue. Overall, needs to improve more as we expect it from 5-star hotels. When you improve more, let me know...

The hotel was new and really nice - room is clean, nice view from the room, my kids totally loved the PS5 at the kids club, nice playground, etc. However, there are a few things that require improvements: 1. We checked in at around 6.30pm, which was already pretty late only to find out that the room given to us was not ready. Beds were not made, no towels provided. It took another 30 minutes to be transferred to a different room. 2. Lifts were not enough to cater during peak hours. There were 2 incidents where we had to wait very long 1) right before the start of the fireshow at 8pm on Saturday night; 2) checkout time. We were lucky we took the lift going up even though we actually wanted to go down. The lift stopped at every floor but people could not get in. One aunt told us to let her squeeze in as she already waited for ONE HOUR! 3. Not enough tables for breakfast -- need to wait for the earlier guests to finish eating. I went down to the restaurant at around 8.30am, there was already no table available. I gave the staff my phone number and asked her to call me when a table is ready. Then I went to have a walk at the hotel's front yard (The landscape was very beautiful!). After around 15-20 mins I came back in only to find a long queue outside the restaurant. I asked the staff if I had to line up but luckily she said no and not long after, we got our table.

I recently stayed at Birkin International Hotel in Melaka and had a truly excellent experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the cozy bed and the quiet ambiance, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring the city. The hotel’s location is also very convenient – close to local attractions, eateries, and shops. It was easy to get around and enjoy the best of what Melaka has to offer. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay at Birkin International Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable experience in Melaka. I’ll definitely be back!

Need to change 3 rooms for one night stay. Very bad experience. My kids managed to have dinner at 10 pm. Five-star hotel at least give dinner compensation at the cafe. We had to wait at the lobby to wait for repairing jobs. After a week, nobody contacted me to explain and give compensation. For RM500+, I got nothing but the worst stay!

The hotel interior and facilities were indeed impressive and beautifully designed — it gave a luxurious first impression. However, there were a few things that made the stay feel below 5-star standards. Firstly, I felt quite uncomfortable with the lift security — anyone could access the guest floors without tapping a room card. Additionally, the Kids’ Club had no security lock, and it seemed that anyone could enter freely. The staff there didn’t greet or acknowledge us at all. I even noticed one staff member who was supposed to be supervising a toddler but was distracted by her phone. It felt very unprofessional and unsafe, especially in a place meant for children. After a long day out, I tried calling to request some basic amenities like extra toilet paper, towels, and toothbrushes. Unfortunately, no one picked up the call even after I tried multiple times for about 10 minutes. This is definitely not the kind of service you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. Overall, while the hotel has great potential and stunning design, the service and safety standards need serious improvement to truly meet 5-star expectations.

The hotel staff is very friendly and very helpful. The hotel atmosphere is comfortable and pleasant. The view from the room balcony is also very nice. The breakfast is delicious! When checking out, the hotel gave me a souvenir. I think this is the best hotel in Malacca! ♥️
