The space was excellent. I was impressed with the quality of the room, especially considering the location and dates of my rental. I would definitely use them again.

Convenient to a lot, easy walking. Easy in/out. Clean but old and worn. Very bare bones accommodations- got one bath towel each, not even a face cloth. No water cup, no coffee. Window air conditioner (didn’t need to use) poorly sealed, so room was very noisy from area live music, etc and wind blowing all night. A LOT of money spent for what we got!

This is a great little place to stay in Newport! The room was adequate and comfortable and the bathroom down the hall was decent. Wish there were blackout blinds/curtains in the room as the wharf lights made it very bright at night. The best thing about this property is the location and the kindness of Tara the manager. We would definitely stay here again!

This historic seaman's inn is located RIGHT on the waterfront and felt like stepping back in time. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. Each room has a maritime theme in the decor. I loved the beautiful 1800s seafarer's chapel, where seamen would go pray before going to sea. There is a sunny, spacious public living room, a gorgeous library and very affordable simple breakfast sandwiches (probably the most affordable b-fast in Newport). I love that it's operated by local people. It's located in the heart of downtown Newport and the waterfront, walkable to museums, restaurants, parks etc. It's super clean and cozy and the staff are very nice. The free WIFI is excellent and the water pressure in the showers was strong. Plenty of hot water. The only drawback, for some people, is that, being an historic home, there aren't bathrooms in every room. We didn't mind the shared bathrooms - they were super clean and we never had to wait to get into one. This is why the rooms are so affordable. The air conditioning also worked really well (we stayed there during a massive heat wave). I don't think the management emphasizes the history of the building enough. I learned about it by accident, stumbling across the chapel when I took a wrong turn. This building's history should really be played up more on the website and flyers places in the rooms. It's a very nice option for those who aren't looking for a fancy place. We would stay there again.

I saw reviews saying there was no AC. We had no issues. In fact our room was freezing, LOL. We loved it! We wanted a place just to stay the night, we knew we wouldn’t be in the hotel for very long. I was so impressed by the location! It is so close to everything. I had never been to Rhode Island before, but booked a bunch of dinners that were recommended 2 months ago. We were right next to all of them! I mean literally nextdoor neighbors to one of the restaurants and within 5 min walk to all others. Obviously communal bathrooms but did not bother us much as we were barely in the hotel, and never had to share the bathrooms when we did use them. Building is slightly run down, but it’s historical! I completely expected it to look like that. As far as I could tell, sheets were cleaned, towels were clean. Everything looked totally fine in my opinion.

This was easily the worst place I’ve stayed at in the last decade. The location was perfect for our trip, but was completely tarnished by the filthy bathroom and zero air conditioning or air for any person to survive a night in the summer. The communal bathroom was in disarray and looked as if it had never been cleaned, further evidenced by the lack of toilet paper or soap in one of the bathrooms. To combat the lack of filtered air and the never ending war with the stale air of an attic, the only option to try and be able to breathe at night was to open the windows, which somehow did not pick up on the slightest breeze despite being portside. Because of the open windows and being located next to the busy wharf, trying to sleep was a lose-lose battle of fighting against the drunken sounds of the wharf or the archaic and warm stale air of the room. Horrific experience

Unbeatable location. Room with bare bones necessities to spend the night. Shared bathroom and shower with several other rooms but can’t beat the price if you’re looking for a decent bed in central Newport.

Just to note this isn't a quaint bed and breakfast like you may expect. It is a room with shared bathrooms down the hall! Something we weren't expecting, but great location.

The publication and the place are not the same, they are very small rooms, not very clean, where you share a bathroom with the other 9 rooms and which are not cleaned during your stay. There is no one to talk to, communication via text message took more than 12 hours in my case. And the answer was: I don't know, I'm sorry.

Très belle chambre, très bien située. Le stationnement est un défi et coûte cher. 40$ pour la nuit.
