We stayed here as it is on the Camino route which we were doing. Nice hotel with a pool, it's quite basic inside and the room was very small. Best to go back towards the bridge for eating and drinking as this hotel is a 10 min walk from the centre.

Photos of hotel are deceiving. The actual entrance is on a busy road leading to town, thus, noisy. Some reception staff must work on their people skills, otherwise, do not work in the hospitality business!!!

It’s a simple and nice hotel. The receptionist was very helpful and changed a room for us because of the toilet issue. We recommend it

I’m sure I would’ve given it a better rating if the pool was warm. I didn’t get to enjoy it, but the room was clean.

Hôtel Sena must have been a nice hotel 25 years ago but it’s run down now. The food is so limited. It’s on the outskirt of town but it has a supermarket close by.

Old place in need of renovation. They still use keys for the rooms.

It’s a simple hotel room. I booked this thinking the pool is natural hot springs coz it’s in Caldas do Reis but staff said it’s very cold water. Needed to rest tired pilgrims body.
Breakfast was not good.

Clean, comfortable and quiet place. Great staff, amazing breakfast. Only concern was the picture frames not appropriate for children if advertised for family rest while doing the Santiago de Compostela Trail.

Lovely hotel which was clean and comfortable...breakfast and dinner both great. It was difficult to find as not all the streets have names and the hotel is on the outskirts of Caldas. Our very sore feet and tired legs could have done without the extra couple of km's at that point :)

Massive (200+ beds) Hotel catering to bus tours, thus a little impersonal and the food good but not exceptional. Rooms good and position on Camino Portuguese and 1 day’s walk from Santiago make it a good choice for pilgrims.

This was a great choice for our Camino route. There was no air conditioning, but the pool did help in that concern. We had a great dinner at the hotel and was very convenient for our needs.
