When I arrived there was no one at the reception desk and I got the email very late for self check, but they FORGOT the room key that was supposed to be in the locker for me to pick up. I waited for someone to show up in order to get into the room, the room looks clean but looks like they were in rush and hurry as the booking was last minute, they left the cleaning spray in the room, that’s not a good impression, then I found LEFTOVER food from the previous guest that didn’t remove from the fridge. I took the pics to show it to the front desk next day, no apologies or anything, maybe that’s normal for them . I don’t recommend unless you arrive before 6pm. The location is good but the price is expensive for no 24 hrs front desk and any hotel essentials.

Great location, sizeable rooms, but no email confirmation of check in process so getting in was a nightmare. But location for restaurants and in town shopping was unbeatable

The room was very clean. Located on the edge of the city center/pedestrian area. Walkable to most major sites. Parking a couple blocks away. The only thing I think could be improved is getting access information before you're at the door.

Pros : good location, modern suite, good AC, comfortable bed Cons: no elevator access to the level where the rooms are located - have to climb 2.5 flights of stairs, breakfast starts at 9am in a nicotine filled cafe - no other option available if you have a tour or early flight (we requested a refund since could only use 1 out of 3 mornings), rough toilet paper, no shelf in shower, only two towel hangers, no daily housekeeping unless requested, no toiletries at all - not even tissues, blow dryer not mounted with an attached heavy casing that dangles, smelly drain pipes, hard pillows without an option for anything else, the icing on the cake - a rude and un empathetic receptionist (Jelena).

This is a very large and very well-decorated apartment in a very good location for sightseeing in Belgrade and lots of dining options nearby. Only thing I would suggest would be helpful are towel racks in the bathroom or dishwashing soap or soap for the dishwasher. Shower Gel container in bathroom was empty.

Our stay at the Black Gallo was perfect for our family. The room was clean and well equipped. The location was also ideal, near lots of major attractions such as parks, boardwalk, shopping and dining. Thank you for all your help and hope to see you soon again. Hvala puno!

Everything was lovely - great staff and the room was great. But, we'd booked an apartment with a kitchenette - it lacked so so many things. I would highly suggest to NOT stay here if you want to self cater. There were 2x cups, cutlery and 2x plates and a frypan with 1x wooden spoon. No bowls, no pots, nothing to use in frypan, no cutting knives, no dishcloth, tea towels or cleaning product - detergent - we ended up having to go buy supplies. Highly disappointing and frustrating - not self catering at all. But amazing location. 👏

The apartment was spacious and clean. The proximity to the city center was better than I imagined. The host was always available and communicated promptly. I have nothing but good things to say about this apartment stay other than the water pressure could have been better and an air conditioning unit in the living room would be beneficial as one AC unit in the bedroom struggles to cool the whole apartment. Great value!!
