Lovely hotel lovely staff all areas are lovely from bar/restraunt/reception

I wanted a base for a weekend of touring in Ireland. Dublin is ridiculously expensive. Kildare is well located, especially for the railway, which is walking distance or just five minutes by car from the hotel. Restaurant was good - they had meals with vegetables and added additional vegetables at my request for no charge. My booking included breakfast, they were happy to cook me a bespoke breakfast, as the full Irish breakfast was ridiculously large.

The staff made our stay excellent, they were all just so friendly and nice. They wasn’t over the top they were just genuine and real. This was from check in to the cleaning ladies to the staff at breakfast and the staff in soul, everyone was great. The hotel itself was great, lovely room, very clean and in a great spot in town. The breakfast was superb and we ate one night in Soul which we loved the laid back vibe and that they cater for everyone with families and young and old in there in a great atmosphere. I hope some time in the future we will be back

The Front Desk was very sweet and helpful. Room is nice however walls are very thin so if you plan on sleeping, you might want to bring earplugs. Regarding the restaurant: unfortunately the food was not that good very bland and cold for the amount paid. The service at the restaurant was not that good either. Would stay again with earplugs but I wouldn't eat at the restaurant

I found the room to be a bit cold during the night and heard traffic regularly during the night. Overall though the stay was pleasant.

Been here before. Hotel us nice. Room had too much light com8ng in from the internal window. Parking very limited.

Upon arrival we were told that they had no reservation for us and asked us to wait while others got checked in then after we made a few phone calls trying to arrange alternative accommodation they said that they had found our booking.

Hotel check in ends at 9pm but we called ahead and they were ok with us arriving a few minutes after. There is no elevator which was ok for us. Our room was on the 2nd floor with comfortable double bed and clean bathroom. Plenty of hot water and pressure. TV had limited channels. We booked a double room for 2 adults and a 4 year old which is usually ok in other hotels. We were told at this hotel that we should have booked a triple room for fire safety reasons which we will keep in mind for next time. The hotel is in an old building so you could feel the cold by the windows but there was plenty of heat from the radiators. 12 min walk to Kildare shopping village. Parking was difficult during restaurant hours but we were able to move our car to the parking lot after the main restaurant closed.

Loved the property! Staff were very welcoming and took care of us! Would definitely stay at the Kildare House Hotel again! Restaurants on property were also amazing!!

Staff was great! Martian (the desk clerk) was exceptional as was Kelly and the entire crew. This has become my new favorite go to place in Kildare. PS: We ate in both the restaurant and lounge and recommend them both! Thank you!

No one at reception on arrival had to wait 30 minutes for someone to arrive.Room not ready till 3.45 despite advertising check in from 12.00 am

The staff were very accommodating and provided the warm Irish hospitality. On the morning of the check out I mentioned my evening flight was delayed and would probably be cancelled. The receptionist immediately went on line to check for other options, now that is what I call good service!

Just back from weekend break, was a great hotel, great friendly welcomem by the owner on arrival , staff very friendly and hotel overall was great, food very nice and overall atmosphere was very friendly,
