Lovely hotel. Would be great if parking were discounted.

The best breakfast buffet Ever! The only problem was that Google maps didn't register the construction in area around the hotel.

This hotel fulfills many different needs for a traveller, whether for business or holiday. It's an easy walk to the train station, an easy walk across the river to the Opera House and other art activities and is near to many restaurants and a Coop grocery store. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast, included with room, is also quite good. I did find the breakfast restaurant too dim and not quite my morning vibe. The staff were courteous about my taking my plate out into the main lobby where there was more light and the music not quite so loud. (it wasn't loud in the restaurant but it was noticeable in a way I didn't care for). The rooms (I had a superior balcony room) are spacious and well equipped. Housekeeping are incredibly friendly and very nice. I really do recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel! We traveled all around Europe and this was by far the best place we stayed. The room was a combination of all the best of each hotel we stayed in. Balcony room with a sitting area and two headed rain shower with a double sink in the bathroom. Even better than the room was the staff. To many great interactions to list here, but everyone was equally helpful and kind. Spa was also a great experience!

Very high standards, excellent service and perfectly located in the city center if you drive (paid parking) is around the corner and if you come by train about 200 meters from the train station and close to the Central Square for acces to several buses! Nearby the river for a nice walk and at walking distance from several nice restaurants. ZanziBar is higly recommended! The most expensive alternative for accommodation in Karlstad but worth it though! Their restaurant on the first floor has excellent food with an open air section and a closed one if you visit during winter!!!

Fantastisk ställe! Otroligt snyggt inrett där det kändes både lyxigt, mysigt, genomtänkt och snyggt på samma gång. Allt vi åt och drack smakade alldeles otroligt bra! Ett enda litet ”men”: det var ganska trångt i frukostbuffén. Själva lokalen (som i övrigt var en superfin restaurang) upplevdes för trång för ändamålet. Men det var värt varje krona oavsett! Boka!

Hotellet har en gjennomført, kul stil hvor man får assosiasjoner til art deko. Rommet hadde god størrelse og det var rolig selv om den var ut mot gaten. Sengen var god. God frokost med godt utvalg. God mat og drikke også i lobbyrestauranten. Spa-et i underetasjen inneholder hamam, to badstuer, fotbad, basseng, solsenger/daybeds/sittegrupper og bar der man kan kjøpe forskjellige spa-produkter, snacks og drikker. Anbefales!😊

Hyggelig personale, renhold av rom var prima. Sentral beliggenhet. Savnet stekt egg og lettmelk til frokosten.

Romslig rom og god seng. Frokostsalen var veldig hyggelig, men eggerøren smakte syntetisk. Det samme gjaldt baconet. Spaavdelingen var veldig koselig og hadde egen bar. Hotellet ligger svært sentralt til med parkering under Kjøpesenter tvers over gaten. Totalt sett et meget godt valg

As far as breakfasts go in Swedish hotels, this was the best I’ve ever had. From the glazed pork, to the mushroom omelette, to the homemade seed knäckebröd and the marinated mozzarella… it was just that much better than other places. The spa was small but a lovely oasis, and we ate at the bar and their food was also quite good. Would definitely stay there again if we are ever in Karlstad.
