It was close to all the interesting stuff in San Sebastián. The windows really blocked out the noise from people partying at the Pintxos bars all along the street. Very walkable! When checking in you will have to walk a couple of blocks with your luggage- it's in a pedestrian zone so no cars/taxis allowed

Absolutely fabulous. Brilliant location and room's are great, probably the comfiest beds we've had. Some rooms have shared bathrooms but this didn't bother us at all, they're spotless and seemed to be cleaned everytime they were used. Luca is very helpful. Wouldn't go anywhere else next time we go to San Sebastian.

A perfect location in the heart of the old town on a street with 3 Michelin-rated restaurants. Anything you might want to eat or drink within 5 minutes walk. Luca could not have been more helpful in pointing out the best places to go, and made sure our room remained spotlessly clean throughout our stay.

The hotel was very well located in the Old Town of San Sebastian. The room was spotless clean and had a balcony which was great. The shared bathroom was also super clean and had all the amenities you needed. I definitely recommend staying here!

Prefect location right around great restaurants and a quick walk to the beach. No AC in the room but a fan is provided. Friendly staff.

Great location in one of the laneways of the old town, easy to access all the city. Spotlessly clean, everything you could need. Room sounded small when we booked but was actually just right, Great shower. Bed was average.Lots of noise from the laneway but once the windows were closed 95% noise was gone. Large bathroom window ( no noise that side) and a fan made the room comfortably cool. The shared kitchen with basic breakfast needs was really handy. The owner gave us lots of suggestions for where to eat and where things were which was appreciated and helpful. I would stay again for sure if we revisited.

Fine place in an amazing Basque Old Town that's full of bars, shops, night-life energy and the amazing Pintxos culture (regional tapas). Luca and his partner Kelley are fun and will do all at their command to make your stay comfortable. He's full of great tips. They even brought us a large fan when temperatures began to climb and, not to forget, installed a phone when we travelled without a mobile one. Speaking of climbing: there's no elevator, and the accommodations are on the 2nd floor, but Luca will immediately give you a hand with your luggage.

We got delayed driving to San Sebastián from Bordeaux because of road construction on the AP. Luca and Kelly waited for us and answered our calls promptly for guidance on parking and walking to the hotel in the middle of Fermin Calbeton ( oldcity) with Pintxos Bars every few feet and filled with Saturday night crowd. After check-in and directions to “must-see/do” in their vibrant city, they sat down and chatted with for awhile in the hotel’s kitchen. They were like old friends welcoming us to their home.

The good bits: Great location, nice room, really nice bathroom, kitchen available to use with breakfast provided. The bad bits: We arrived early and there was a problem with the bathroom so the owner spent ages in there with a tradesman to get it fixed. This is fine but then once we'd checked into the room and were taking a nap he knocked on the door and needed to come into the bathroom - not appropriate! Felt like it wasn't private.

This is a pleasant apartment in the centre of the Old Town in Donostia/San Sebastian. The location is superb, on a lively pedestrian street with many pintxo bars, close to buses and only a short walk to both beaches. Although the street is busy with people, the windows are double glazed and when closed there is very little noise. The apartment is in a charming old building, and each room has a juliet balcony looking onto the street below. The apartment has been done up in a modern style, and has been converted to a hotel arrangment with several separate bedrooms that lock, and a shared bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom is great, beautifully done up with a big walk in shower, and is kept spotless. The kitchen is more homely and there is free bread, spreads, and tea, and a fridget that can be used by guests. The bedroom we were in had a large wardrobe, bedside tables, and a small desk and chair, but it did feel quite cramped to move around in. The double bed was very comfortable and the clothes line on the balcony was useful for drying things after the beach. The owner, Luca, was helpful and friendly, and was quick to greet us when we arrived even though we hadn't communicated in advance about arrival time. He also allowed us to leave our bags on our last day and arrange a time to collect them. The host does not live in the apartment, so it is very quiet though there may be opportunity to meet other guests in the kitchen.

Very good for a hostel. We had a double room and it was small but clean and the private bathroom was good. Nice to have a balcony and great location.
