It has beautiful sea views, nice balcony, tea and coffee machine in the foyer. Attached to a cafe/restaurant. Lots of coffee shops that open early nearby.

Good stop over before getting the ferry at Bilbao. Very friendly staff who contacted us prior to arrival to ensure we had directions. Lovely building and room in a quiet location.

lovely typically spanish small hotel. Staff really nice in a nice village with a couple of good restaurants and at least 3 cafe bars. Honesty box for drinks is nice. PLenty of choice for breakfast including amazing orange juice. Watch out for your head if you are in the attic. No air con but I am sure a fan could be arranged.

Authentic Spanish boutique hotel with beautiful small garden and good services, specially all the personnels were very friendly. But, attic room was too small and very uncomfortable, and need to improve coffee for American guests.

On arrival the lady at the desk couldn't have been more polite or helpful. Breakfast was well worth the price, rooms spotless, very quiet. The only complaint could be that the rooms are not very well lit. But the friendliness and work ethic of the staff was tremendous, without being in your face they always went out of there way to try and help.

Great stay with very helpful and friendly staff. We stayed 11 nights and used the hotel as a base for visiting local sites. Staff were very helpful with suggested locations and useful information on local restaurants and bars. Must mention the manager, Mara, who went out of her way to make sure we had a fantastic stay. Rooms were very clean and full of character. We also found the local people in Liendo very welcoming.

Good, comfortable clean hotel in a wonderful old building. No restaurant in the hotel but a very good one in the village near the church, called Ambigu. Using the coordinates given, our satnav was about 50 yards out and the hotel only has a discreet sign on the gate post, had to ask a local where it was. Very friendly welcome and helpful advice about the locality. We were on our way to Santander to catch the ferry, hotel is not far from the motorway.

Loved this hotel, quaint, interesting history, nice room, nice garden area to enjoy a glass of wine and a book. Reception person was wonderful, interesting and happy to welcome guests. Self serve bar. We missed beach trying to follow directions, but once back on main road could see it; looks worth exploring. Very small town, 2 restaurants, I believe. Get directions to hotel from hotel, our gps took us off course and map printout with reservation is not helpful; turnoff is close to the only Petrol station and not on any really narrow barrio roads.

The front desk is only attended certain hours so be careful when you check in or email them first. No restaurant or staff on site overnight. On positive side, good clean rooms in 16C house with snooker table and honesty bar.
