I lucked out choosing this pension for my first-ever visit to Granada. The location can't be beat--at the foot of the Albaicin. Literally steps away from the Calle Gran Via de Colon (main thoroughfare) with a stop for the airport bus. Walking distance to the Cathedral and the Plaza Isabel la Catolica. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on. I never had to wait to use a shared bath; both full baths (and the half bath) were spotless and had plenty of hot water. The pension is in an apartment building above a restaurant; my only complaint is that the restaurant workers were noisy around 1 or 2 am every morning as they closed the restaurant for the night. Bring earplugs. Easy to walk everywhere in the Albaicin to explore. I won't hesitate to stay here on my next visit to Granada!

The hotel is located in the middle of the city, so we can walk anywhere. The staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating, and nice. The room was nice, clean and with good WiFi. I cannot recommend this place enough.

For the price, this place was as expected. Nothing to write home about, but the location was fantastic (walking distance to Alhambra) and very close to one of the main plaza's. I would recommend asking for a room that is not right next to the staircase coming in. The walls are thin and I could hear people coming in and talking/walking up the staircase at night. They have signs up telling people to be quiet, but many people don't pay attention. Room was perfect for one person or a couple. It was a big drafty because the windows are old and don't seal that well, but they have a little electric room heater which worked well.

My stay was great except for a bit of traffic sound, nothing major. For sightseeing 1 day is sufficient unless you are the for the beach during warmer temperature. Overall it was great- easy location, walkable everywhere, restaurants etc.

I want to thank Anatares team alot for their endless help and friendly spirit. Only one comment u must publish that the reception desk is avaliable from 8:30 Am till 10 pm only. As I arrived early morning like 7:30 Am and there was no response while riding the bill and I thought something wrong and then I discovered that the reception is nor before 8;30 am

Very central location, charming old building, with lots of tapas bars & restaurants nearby. 15 min walk to Alhambra, parks, and 5 min walk to shops and cathedral. My son booked this hostel for us and we were worried about what we would find as it seemed to target young backpackers. We were delighted with the location and then delighted again at the warm welcome at reception. Lots of information given and we were shown to our room. It was basic but very clean, with private bathroom. Daily housekeeping, good wifi, a/conditioning. Large window overlooking the street below with tapas bars and lots of activity till early hours. There was a double glazed door, plus original windows and shutters so good barrier to noise. Breakfast was advertised in nearby cafe for €4 'made with love' - just up our street!! It was the cheapest place we stayed in during our visit to Andalusia and it was the most joyful. There was someone at reception until 10.30pm and they were keen to help or advise. There was a microwave in the corridor for general use. The young folks running this hostel were enthusiastic and worked hard to please. It was a nostalgic stay for us, now in our mid 60's & 70's, reminding us of the sort of places we stayed in when we were much younger!

Overall a good place in a great location for a reasonable price. Easy to walk to all the sites, including the Alhambra. The room was spacious and relatively clean. The wifi worked. If you're going to get a shower, however, best to do so late at night. The hot water is pretty much gone by 8:30 am.

The location is amazing, right in the heart of the town. Remember that this is a student hostel and you pay for a hostel, not a hotel. It is good value for money. The air conditioning worked better than in 2 of the hotels we stayed in depite temperature of 40C.

The location is perfect. Right in the city centre, close to Alhambra. However we found the place bit smelly. Well, you get what you paid for.

This was a very centrally located hotel, right in the heart of the city centre and close to the Alhambra, Cathedral, bus routes etc. You certainly can't fault it for that. The only downside to that was that it could be pretty noisy at night, as the hotel is very close to several bars and restaurants. So what you gain in some ways, you may lose in others. The owner of the hotel was very welcoming, friendly and available if needed.

I went knowing you can't have the great central location without the street noise so that didn't upset me. The owner was helpful, accommodating and efficient. For what I paid, I was pleased. If you're looking for luxory, though, it's not for you.

This hostal is super close to an incredible number of attractions and fine restaurants. It is also very inexpensive. Cleanliness could be better, but for the price it was acceptable.

This hotel is located just behind the Cathedral, very centric location. That means that during the night it is very noisy, with drunk people screaming. There are good restaurants nearby and the Alhambra is about 2 Km from it. The owner Javier was very friendly. There is no elevator, so we had to climb 2 high flights of stairs carrying our luggage (including a bicycle). Rooms were on the small range.

Perfect location, in easy walking distance to all the major points of interest. Basic hotel with surprisingly comfortable beds. Just a good place to sleep at night, nothing fancy. The owner is very nice and gave us quick information on how to find the nearest tourist info and recommendations for sights to see. Rooms and bathroom are small but serve the purpose. Traveling with my daughter and we are feeling quite safe in the hotel and the surrounding streets. Good WiFi connection in the room.
