One night stop on a walking holiday. Great value. Great staff. It had a balcony with a view of the beach! Awesome.

The Buenavista is a fairly basic 1 star hotel on the seafront with a busy road in front and hence a little noisy. However it is one of the few hotels in the centre of town and a good place to stay in order to explore the old town. Lots of great restaurants nearby and lively paces to have a drink.

The Hotel Buenavista occupies a prime front line location in the centre of Estepona. It is not a swish upmarket commercial enterprise, but a traditional antiquated Spanish hotel serving those of us who just love finding places like this that are friendly, comfortable and fairly priced. I was a single maie visitor and given a room overlooking the sea front and sea. It had a very comfortable double bed, ensuite bathroom with bath & shower. The windows had blackout curtains (a must have) and the aircondioner was reversible (hot/cold). The room was kept nicely warm for the cool January evenings! The front reception was manned 24 hours per day which is extremely worthwhile when traveling by night flight into Malaga airport and then by bus to Estepona. Being adjacent to old town is so convenient for all the bars and restaurants, Estepona is such a nice Spanish town and not overrun by noisy tourists (not during my visit). If you're looking for somewhere plush to post online, then you'll not be satisfied here, but if you're an adventurer happy to see what comes up, you'll not be disappointed with the Buenavista.

Basic hotel clean on main street in Estonia reasonable price

Clean but drab and uninspiring. Staff were helpful but not very friendly. Probably because of lack of English

It’s not a hotel... there’s no facilities... I was quoted E35 but was charged E50 + tax I checked out after one night even though I paid for four! It’s a hostel.. not a hotel It’s an absolutel horrible place and I have quotes from yourselves quoting me E35 Anyway I won’t trust you again

We returned to this hotel as it is in a good location, excellent price for value and dogs are admitted free. Will be returning again as it is a nice get away for a night from the sierra down to the coast.

Very comfortable bed. Quiet at the back of the Hotel. Good location. No problems.

Functional and vonvenient

Its an older hotel but you can't beat the location! Lovely to hear the waves crashing on the beach at night. Central location. Vintage Rick Steves kind of vibe. Could use an update, but I wouldn't hesitate going again. Very friendly night staff!

Very old fashion hotel ...!good location but pay for old castle

The hotel has a good location near the main town and opposite the beach and is good value for money. My room had a nice balcony with sea views.

Very comfortable room,was glad we were on 5 th floor as we could still hear the busy road, location was great, across the rd from beach and lovely restaurants

Cheap, clean & comfy beds
