This was our second time staying at this hotel. Once on the way down from France to Portugal and once on the way back.. It is a large, well appointed hotel. The staff are friendly and efficient. The room was clean and well appointed with a little balcony to look out over the car park, the road and the retail units beyond. Good double glazing as the room was very quiet. We had a light breakfast in the cafeteria which is a part of the hotel, which was extra to our room price, but very reasonably priced and great coffee.

Very clean, very tidy, professional staff. Had quite an attractive quality 50s vibe to the styling of the hotel, but the room was up to speed on comfort and modern needs. Lovely little balcony.Although on a main road the double glazing was excellent and we both slept very well. One thing, an extractor fan in the bathroom is essential! Had a very tasty tomato tostada, freshly squeezed orange juice and good coffee for breakfast in the cafeteria. We were en route to Portugal from France, so didn't actually go into the town this visit. We may book for two nights on the way back in May and go and explore the old town. Excellent parking and very easy access to the motorways.

A lovely friendly hotel just off the main road south. Nice bedrooms and great food outside serviced from the cafe. Definitely would recommend this hotel

Just overnight stay - Easy check in, clean comfortable room. Bar/cafeteria area felt a bit "tired" but otherwise pleasant place to stay.

Property was fine, will probably stay there again. Convenient location with good motorway access.

A 30 minute walk through industrial area to the town, but well worth it. Menu del dia was well worth the price at lunchtime.

Overnight stop en route from Santander to Cadiz. Handy for The motorway and very good parking. Bar / cafeteria offered good food and excellent service. Buffet breakfast in restaurant adequate. Room modern, clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and courteous. Some way from the centre of Plasencia so probably less good for a proper visit, although only a short taxi ride to the centre.

Convenient situation - good clean hotel - comfortable beds excellent price - lovely friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Azar is a great overnight stop over. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Gentleman on reception exceptionally helpful. Advice on heading to town. Restaurant and sights. Thought he was going to load my motorcycle he was so helpful. The restaurant staff were equally friendly and helpful.

We really like this hotel as it is so conveniently located on our drive to Marbella from Santander. Easy to get there and park, good value, good choice of food and breakfast included. The rooms are spacious as is the bathroom. Not a great view but the town I’d nice if you venture out. Only complaint this time was a very lumpy pillow. Working well with Covid security.
