Hotel was nice, quiet but the owner could not speak english so asking for recommendations on restaurants was a struggle. And it is close to river so everything is up hill.

While bit a luxurious hotel, it was an easy and convenient stop for the night and convenient access to a great city. Make sure to walk the river and feed the geese just s few steps below the hotel. Unforgettably beautiful!

The place is tiny and you have a feeling that you are staying at somebody's unclean house. Pillow had a bunch of hair on it, and when asked to change the bedding only the pillow case was changed. The shower was dirty too and had hair all over. Could be OK if you are a dirty hippie backpacker tourist and just need a cheap place to sleep, otherwise best avoided.

Toledo is a beautiful city, naturally fortified by being on top of a hill. This hotel is at the bottom of the hill and requires a uphill hike to get into town. That said, it only takes 10 minutes and we really enjoyed making our way through all the narrow streets to get to the cathedral. The hotel itself is functional--good a/c but bad water pressure.

The hotel was nice for the price but not as centrally located as we would have liked. We had to take two taxi's from the train station (there are no vehicles in Toledo to fit a family of five, so they forced us to take two taxis even though our three young kids could have easily fit). If you are driving, I could see this place being tough to find. The room was standard, but good for a one night stay. The service desk was helpful but a bit disorganized about our reservation. The walk is only 15 minutes to the Cathedral, but up a failrly steep incline so you arive exhausted. Beware if you have issues walking. Next time will opt for a hotel in the center of town where you can take a bus from the train station and skip the uphill hike.

A small "mom and pop" hotel on the river at the very south end of Toledo. Drive up, unload luggage and then park down the hill on the lower level -- free! Parking can be 30 euros per day in most Spanish cities. Very hard to find. We hired a cab to escort us there and it was worth the five euros and might save you an hour of searching. No amenities except a comfortable room where the windows opened out onto the river. All we could hear was the breeze blowing through the trees and the burbling of the water. Comfortable, secluded and relaxing. It is about a 10 - 15 minute walk uphill, perhaps 400 vertical feet, to central Toledo through narrow, winding streets that are classic Spain. If you get hungry in the night, have some snacks. This place is "out in the country." Great value for the price.

This is a great budget hotel, basic but very clean. We went in a family group, with children and grandparent, and used it as a base for Toledo. The hotel offers little with regards to the hotel 'experience'. Just comfortable & clean beds, with a helpful guy on reception. Great price, so will stop there again.

It was hard to find the hotel, but the location is very good if you travel by car with plenty of parking around. It is close to the river and you can see the Toledo Parador right across the river. The room was clean but the bathroom smelled a bit musty, which cleared up once you open the door and window. The gentleman at the reception was a bit gruff at the beginning but he warms up later on. It's a straightforward 10-minute uphill walk to the Cathedral through a little street. It's a way of being close to town yet without the noise. Generally it was a enjoyable stay.

Room was small but clean with comfortable beds and central air and heat. Was difficult to find and is about a 10 minute walk from the main attractions in town. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I would stay there again.

The hotel was normal for a low-budget hotel in a high-priced hotel area. For a low price we got to stay within the walls of Toledo and walk everywhere. The rooms are small and simple, but that is to be expected. Once I learned how to drive there parking and finding the hotel was simple. It is a LONG walk uphill with a stroller and little children to the center of the city, but it was good exercise. And being close to the river we had some fun as a family down there. The best part the hotel was the one staff person. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us great tips. He was always willing to serve. Overall this is a great option for the budget traveler who wants to stay in the old part of Toledo.

This is really a hotel of last resort. It is located close to the city center, but that's about its only plus. There is no designated parking area, so you'll have to park in the street. There is no elevator so we had to lug our bags up a flight of stairs. The room was air conditioned, and it stayed on all night, which is hit or miss in Spain. The room had only one light bulb hanging from the ceiling which made the room very dim. The room was clean.

Excellent value for money. Tiny but clean room, friendly people, nice and quiet location, some 10-12 minutes walk uphill to the city center.

This is a great value if you aren't looking to spend loads of money on a hotel. I think the reason this hotel is significantly cheaper than others in Toledo is the fAct that it is a 10 minute hike uphill to the center of town. If you don't mind the exercise or expect luxury accommodations, this place is perfect. We had a modest private terrace overlooking the river which really added a nice touch to our stay! The room was dated but very clean and comfortable. Will stay here again!

The man at reception was very helpful, offered to dry our wet cloths when we were caught in a deluge. No luxury but a quiet area of town with the riiver near by and a place to picnic. Be prepared to walk uphill to the historical sights.
