Really nice place and nice view of the river and mountains. The room are a little noisy (you can ear next door room and above the room), no intimacy for shower and bathroom - open space). Late breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff

Upon arriving we’ve found that the hotel is under renovation. People were hammering and using noisy cement machines just under our window and the pool area. We’ve intended to stay 2 nights and asked the manager to stay only one night and search for another place but he refused to cancel the 2nd night’s payment and the hotels.com staff weren’t helpful as well. So instead of a peaceful romantic vacation we were forced to use ear plugs from 8am to 6pm.

This was a beautiful experience for our family! The service from Elvira and Caterina was excellent. They were so kind and treated us like family. Would definitely come back again!!!

Spectacular view of the Douro Valley. Very clean modern open design. (Discussed the feedback already received with the host about the modern ‘open’ room floor plan) Staff was great. Excellent breakfast. Helpful dinner suggestions.
