This place is perfect for the family and de people is Vero friendly and the front desk is too attentive and nice

Budget hotel, small gym, swimming pool, good staff, doesn’t speak English but using Google translate able to assist. good experience overall

My room was right by the front desk and very modi’s people talking and laundry machining running

The location is very convenient, staff is attentive, the free breakfast it's a joke, just coffee and some strange cookies, parking is only two spaces, you have to park in the street. Hot water works works on/off, very low flow in the shower, weird bathroom, but be careful with room 101 and 102, very noisy all night!

It was a great location in a new hotel. We stayed for a week. We had a nice big window with view of city. Service was pretty good but often we had to request it such as taking garbage out, leaving more supplies. Staff were accommodating but I think maybe a bit too busy. I found the bed to be comfortable but the pillows were very high and hard. There was no light over the vanity so a bit hard to see. The rooftop patio was very nice with a view and pool. The breakfast could be improved by serving a variety from day to day versus always the same. Having fresh fruit instead of frozen would be welcome, butter for toast and a better warming system for the eggs etc as they weren’t hot. The cutlery and plates sometimes didn’t look very clean. Despite these things than can be improved the price was excellent for a stay near the centre. I think the email welcome messages and goodbyes were very nice as were the staff.

The Colmena Marina is a new building just a short walk from Cabo's marina area, the city's main tourist spot. It's far enough away not to be noisy, and there are a number of places to eat nearby. The complimentary rooftop breakfast is a nice amenity. The main entrance is not staffed overnight so if you come in after hours there is a code for the front door.

The hotel has no way of locking rooms from the inside and their safe is a joke as it’s not bolted down and a cheap cheap model. Huge gaps around the door and we left after one night.

Poor safe conditions to children . Stairs without handrails. Short walls/ balconies to ether children or drunk people. Pool in rooftop without security . Unsafe non walls structures Poor / cold breakfast service . Poor conditions to prepare food for guests . Location is good. 5 minutes to downtown. Parking is very few spots . Poor internet TV service is not free . You can sign in to one of your apps like Netflix etc but … the internet signal is very poor . Miguel , was a great host . But overall the installations need to work on main important details in order to became a successful place to stay .

The hotel was great. I didn’t see any signs of constructions, so it must be over. The rooftop breakfast was appreciated

The hotel is still in the works but it met our needs. The only thing that was missing was a fridge in the room, other than that, everything is in walking distance. Restaurants at every corner, OXXO (Mexican 7-11) is two blocks down. The marina is a 7 minute walk. This hotel is located near the center of all attractions. Cheap, nice and convenient . WiFi, prime and Netflix on the TV and very spacious room.

The property is under construction 🚧. Once it is finished it will be a very nice boutique Hotel.

The property is in a good location close to the marina and downtown. The property will be nice qhen the construction ia done. The staff was good. The elevator wasnt operational yet. There was drywall and other dust everywhere on the property. The swimming pool looked bigger in the pictures. I was woken up almost every morning to construction noise. There was a couple of days they didnt have bottled water in my room. But like i said it will be a nice place when it is finished. The bed was comfortable as well as the pillows.

The hotel is still under construction. It will be amazing when it is finished. Even with the active construction the staff keeps it clean and presentable.

My review is based on my stay on Jan 2 2025. My experience would have been a lot better if the hotel wasn’t under construction. In addition to the loud construction noise in the early morning, WiFi & coffee machine doesn’t work, bed is very hard & uncomfortable, no hangers for clothes, I stood in the shower for about 15-20 minutes waiting for the hot water, construction dust floating everywhere - just all bad. Also, I was notified by the hotel one week before my stay that the hotel was undergoing construction which is very unfair because that did not give me enough time to find another hotel so I agreed to stay & ended up checking out the next morning due to my unpleasant experiences. Management knew this property was under construction from the time I booked (early December) but decided to notify me one week before my stay - very unethical. I do not recommend while the property is undergoing construction. Aside from all that, the man that checked me in is very nice & the room is also very nice & modern.

It was really false advertising, that I got an email only a day before my trip which was Christmas Eve telling me that some areas were still under construction. I thought well the photos of the place looked nice brand new hotel and super clean modern. They told me not to worry that they would make our stay as comfortable as possible. Only to arrive and see the building was still not completed, dirty and dirt around. It I was it was not ready to be rented. I felt so cheated ruined my vacation and Christmas. They refunded but now I was stuck now trying to find accommodation on Christmas Eve everything was so expensive. Expedia even wanted to charge me a cancellation fee on top of it! How can Expedia not know this prior and check before allowing hotels to do this? Not sure if this happened to others. Definitely be ware if you are considering booking here.

The Hotel was still under construction when we arrived so the only amenities available were coffee, bed, and free wifi. This was really all we needed as our days were completely booked with other activities. Unfortunately I would not recommend due to extreme noise until 3am. Bring ear plugs
