Nice family run hotel with a lot of places to hang out and play games or talk. Staff was great and showed us to our room at check-in. The included breakfast had a wonderful variety of food including fresh baked bread. Room was cozy, clean and comfortable.

Very cute hotel. 24/7 coffee and tea access and free parking onsite. Staff was super nice and very accommodating. Rooms were small but clean. Was surprised to see my room cleaned the following day. Was nice coming back after a long day to a clean room. Bathroom was also clean and user friendly. I would give this hotel 3 stars because the room walls were very thin, where I would hear the neighbors throughout the night. To my left, they kept opening and closing their closet continuously until 1am and I could hear them talk and bang on stuff. To my right, I heard the other guest snoring throughout the night and since my room was directly adjacent to the shower and bathrooms, constantly heard people opening and closing the doors. Need better soundproofing for proper sleep. Even tried listening to my audiobook to drown out the external noise but even then, I couldn't even concentrate on the book. Another point taken away because of breakfast options. It was limited to cereal, toast and meat & cheese slices and was the same for the 2 days I was there. Was looking for more variety such as bacon, eggs, etc. Blueberry jam was amazing!! The best I ever tasted. Overall would stay here again. Also liked the fact that dinner was available for purchase.

I want to report violence and abuse from the hotel manager. I am a female and Manager beat me and spilled hot coffee on me and snatched breakfast plate while eating. He became violent and angry and furious and turned crazy when I said your employee told me that dinner is included he started yelling and screaming and accusing otherway around. Hotel is running fradulent business by telling customers dinner is included as part of the reservation… and later charging $450 USD.

Our 55 wedding anniversary did not have any double bed so twin bed separated by large unmovable table.

This is a wonderful place to stay! It has the best shower (excellent water pressure)—10/10 there! I loved the staff a lot, and their breakfasts and how they set them up was beautiful. One of my favorite stays in Iceland.

This was a beautiful place to stay, and a perfect jumping off point for our North Iceland vacation. Easy drive to Myvatn area, slightly longer but still easy drive to Vatnajökull National Park and points north. Staff showed great hospitality.

An amazing guest house outside of myvatn. Staff were exceptional. The food excellent. Big breakfast buffet with all the local favorites. I would stay here again. Even saw the northern lights! The 2 family dogs were a bonus!

Out un the country lidging. The rooms were small but were clean and comfortable. Perfect location for exploring the waterfalls and country to the north as well locally around Myvatn
