SMALLER ROOM THAN EXPECTED - NOT REALLY EASY FOR COOKING

Location was good. The bed was unfortunately so uncomfortable, we both woke up with bad backs. Would say it needs a new mattress. No tv or air-conditioning so did get hot in the room.

Room had everything I needed and access to washing machine and tumble dryer was super helpful. Bowls could have been a bit more bowly, they were more for pasta than for cereal. The stand out item was the faff to check in which required going to the other side of town to pay the tax part of check in before getting a code for the lock safe. The check in person was super friendly but the automated emails didn't facilitate two way interaction to see if the check in faff was actually necessary. Still, it was clean and comfortable and now I know the deal I would probably stay there again. Also close to a couple of nice local bars and coffee shops

Comfortable clean practical room. Easy to get anywhere in Lugano. The laundry room requires a bit of negotiation with others during busy times. Bring your own laundry soap and basket - for travelers this means a trip to the grocery store.

Great location and good price!

Did not realize until I arrived at the property they wanted an email of my passport and credit card. That they needed additional money than Expedia had asked for. My bad but there was another couple there with the same problem. They were unresponsive to emails. Expedia was no help. Finally got in. Room was clean and large. Bathroom was nice but bed was uncomfortable and room was noisy. Price was good for Lugano. Lack of electrical outlets.

Difficult to get ahold of the admin and unless I casually found the general admin of the building supervising the premises I wouldn’t have gotten ahold of the laundry door entry codes. Communication was poor. Too many info request to get the access code for day 1. Location is great. Places to eat, shop, visit and transportation incomparable

The studio is basic, but has anything you need - small kitchen, microwave, dishes (no dish sope, however). The bathroom needs some repairs, but is spacious. The place, however, despite being mordern, has literally zero charm. But it is very well located, and the price is absolutely right. My main problem was the communication: As I booked via hotels.com, a plethora of conflicting and confusing information follwed (e.g. you have to check-in elswhere; we will reveal information if you give us informatin on this form (which was empty). Contact us if .. with no contact information. A link to paypal and twint without telling me what they wanted me to pay. I eventually found out their email, and contacted them to get the missing information. This chaos sort of represents also their attitude: you do not feel welcome. Noone said - glad to have you as a guest, but there are threats of "if you do not clean the kitchen, it costs .. if you do not check out exactly at the time, we will ... " . (And: check out their responses to criticism on the net). My suggestion to the organizers: Besides of all the rules and threats you communicate, you may include a welcome, glad to host you. This said: I will go back there.

Well, Expedia wrote $5 city tax at booking time, the host charged CHF 11.50 ($15!) right before the stay. Even worse, to be paid either by a weird local swiss payment system or paypal. Nothing else, no cash no credit card. Not great at all. Also quite noisy apartment. Otherwise clean and ok.

床不舒服，地點還可以，但自助服務和押金過程很複雜都無法用英文讀取，所以，要親自寫Mail處理

Bom quarto, perto dos principais pontos, da estação de trem, o ponto de ônibus é literalmente em frente e a cama é muito confortável, tomamos um lanche na sacada e foi muito fresco, embaixo tem várias lanchonetes e a Universidade de Lugano Não estava totalmente limpo e o cheiro não é agradável, o banheiro enche de água ao tomar banho

L'appartamento ha una ottima posizione. L'arredamento è abbastanza semplice, l'angolo cottura del tutto insoddisfacente. Nella descrizione su Hotels.com non era scritto che occorreva fare un deposito di 150 CHF, e l'importo della tassa di soggiorno era errato. A fine soggiorno la struttura mi ha trattenuto dal deposito da differenza della tassa di soggiorno senza comunicarmi nulla. Inoltre ho scoperto che l'incremento della tassa di soggiorno dava diritto al Ticino Ticket, che ci avrebbe consentito di usare i mezzi pubblici gratuitamente per tre giorni, ma non ci è stata fornita. Quindi lamento scarsa trasparenza e un ingiusto danno economico.

Everything super ! We were for short time, but the studio was perfect to make a rest, our case !
