Welcome basket and house is adorable with a super cool history about the house and family. Kitchenette was cute and everything was labled which was nice. Room was very cozy.

Very clean, very welcoming, definitely older but that's all part of the charm! No front desk but the standard amenities are all provided. Lovely stay, do recommend!

Our room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The owners were helpful and gave clear directions. Parking was great, close to the house and away from the road. Breakfast was good, and well stocked. We did not get to meet any staff during our stay but did run into a couple of pleasant fellow travelers.

The hosts were available for any issues, yet in the shadows....meaning they were not in your space, yet responded rapidly with any requests. This place has turn off the century charm, for sure. It is super well located. All amenities are provided as stated & then some. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The charming inn had comfortable rooms. The self-serve continental breakfast was good, and we appreciated the clear and responsive communications from he host.

So I stayed for 1 night. Yes, the owner continually says that house is old. I have lived in a house older than this but it doesn't need to smell old. I don't believe anyone lives on-site but the exterior of the property needs some attention.Cobwebs and overgrown bushes in the backyard. The interior needs a refresher. When you list as a BnB that usually means someone is there making breakfast. Not serve yourself cold cereal, yogurt, bagel or bananas. The best part of my stay was the excellent water pressure in the shower.

It was just so beautiful and well kept, they say breakfast but really there’s just breakfast food you can take any time of the day even after your check in, they give you a little snack in your welcome basket and Jodi is just the most accommodating! There’s handwritten notes that explain everything, just one of the best parts of my trip

Beautiful home, ensuite washrooms were blessed because of sharing with other guests. The breakfasts and snacks were delicious as well, lots of selection. Comfy beds, its was quiet, we didn't find out about the beautiful backyard and balcony until right as we were about to leave otherwise we would have liked to hang out there for a bit to relax. If we ever find ourselves needing to be in the area overnight we'll definitely be staying there again!

The Bristow's Inn has a wonderful Victorian character. The room and common areas are nicely furnished with period furniture and decorated with local hand made decorations like quilts, signs. The location is good too. While the communication with the owner was clear and prompt, it was always via email or text. We never saw the owner or any staff which makes the stay a bit impersonal. Some guests may prefer the independent stay, we prefer the human contact. That being said, all instructions and signs are very clear and things, including breakfast are easy to find. Breakfast is self-serve, which is a bit unusual in an inn. It had good variety od bagels, muffins, bread, fruit, yogurts and local jams but it did not feel like anything special as you would expect in an inn or B&B. We still had a nice stay and would return.

Great little spot in the area! Historical charm, welcoming vibe and community. You'll pretty much have everything you need at a hotel, just packaged in a cutesy, cottagey format. Lots of cool art and things to see.
