Exceptional!. It's a very beautiful hotel. It has beautiful gardens and a huge swimming pool. The view to the ocean is breathtaking. It's clean and quiet. Rooms spacious and have comfortable beds. The staff members are very friendly. I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. Highly recommended.

The Masana Algarve is a beautiful resort. The Villa is so spacious and provides everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The Villa and surrounding grounds are kept in immaculate condition all due to the hard work of the staff who are all so incredibly friendly and helpful. One of the loveliest places to relax and unwind.

Nicely renovated with all staff very friendly. Breakfast is perfect not a buffet which tbh is nice. We life’s out stay here and will come back

Beach access and view

Lovely apartment, clean, newly refurbished. Pool is lovely and clean but not heated, too cold to enjoy in October. Access to beautiful beaches are great. 10 mins walks to shops and restaurants.

The resort was very nice and the staff were very friendly. The facilities are pretty new and in nice condition. Our stay was during the off-season so it was very quiet but well cared for. We enjoyed the walks on the beach and the close proximity to restaurants. We used this location as our central point for exploring the Algarve region. A beautiful part of the world … which we enjoyed very much! We would return here in the future.

We had a pleasant stay at this resort last week and our experience was exceptional. The rooms were spacious, very well designed, modern with direct access to an outdoor patio area, access to the pool and less than five minutes walk to the beach. The room offered a self-catering service and we made full use of the space available. The most beautiful thing was the open plan kitchen, which allowed us to be in the same space while cooking. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this resort.

What a gorgeous property! We loved everything! The apartment was beautifully decorated and cozy! The grounds and pool area are amazing! The walks around the coast had fantastic views! Easy walk to shops and restaurants! One of the most favourite places I have ever stayed! Loved it!

We had wonderful stay. The Villa was really well kitted out, the pool was perfect for our small children. Staff extremely helpful. The highlight was the access to the trail which lead to a series of small secluded beaches.

It was a great stay. The small beach behind the hotel is amazing to see the sun rise and enjoy some quiet time.

Our stay at Villas d'Agua was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the warm and friendly staff, who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect with a short walk to stunning beaches and local restaurants. The villas themselves are beautifully maintained and provide all the modern amenities you could ask for. Everything was sparkling clean, and it’s clear that a lot of attention is given to detail in each room. Overall, Vilas d'Agua offers a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and authentic Portuguese charm. We can't wait to come back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

Our stay at Villas d'Água Beachfront Resort was nothing short of amazing. The property, which is brand new, is tastefully decorated with a modern touch that feels inviting and comfortable. The view from our villa was stunning, with breathtaking ocean panoramas we could enjoy at any time. The entire resort was quiet and perfectly relaxing. One of our favorite features was the scenic hiking trail along the beach, lined with rock pools and caves. This beautiful trail offers incredible views, making each hike a memorable journey through natural beauty. We also can’t say enough about the staff — they were genuinely friendly and attentive, adding to our wonderful experience. General Manager Patricia Correia welcomed us warmly, setting a positive tone for the entire stay. She even surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a cheese platter to celebrate our 30th anniversary, making our visit even more special. Thank you again, Patricia! For anyone seeking a beachfront retreat with style, comfort, and outstanding service, Villas d'Água is an exceptional choice. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location and scenery is amazing . Our apartment was filled with many amenities which provided a comfortable roomy stay.

Within 10 minutes of arriving I fell down the second flight of stairs leading to the bedroom and sustained a nasty injury to my head, knee and hand. There was no handrail which could have prevented my fall. I reported my injury to the receptionist who gave me ice and the number of a taxi if I needed to go to a hospital. She said she would report my injury to the manager and my concern regarding a lack of handrail. I stayed 8 nights and no one from the company contacted me to see how I was or to investigate the accident. I subsequently found out that in July a guest had pointed out the lack of a handrail and that the stairs were dangerous and that the manager had confirmed that the issue had been addressed. This is not true and very misleading. We booked a room with a seaview and were given a room with a view of another apartment. The receptionist asked for proof we had booked a seaview which was somewhat insulting as all rooms on this site when we booked and anytime I have checked since are described as having sea views. We were transferred to a room at 7pm the following day which had a partial sea view. We were obviously very low priority. Towels were changed after two days and nothing thereafter and the bins were not emptied. We should not have to ask for basic service. As previous guest has pointed out the balconies are not safe for young children and in general the apartment is not safe until handrails are put in on all the stairs.

We had the best holiday staying at Villa D'Agua Beachfront resort, from the moment we got into our apartment we were really impressed with the space. Beautiful interior with all the amenities needed, the most gorgeous decking area with sea view and pool view. The gardens and pool area were lovely, great swimming pool for children too. Very quiet and relaxing. Lots of lovely rockpools and caves to explore down on the front steps to the beach too. Reception staff were great in answering questions, the pool bar was unfortunately closed but next year they plan to have a bar and resturant area. Surrounding area was really lovely, two great beaches within a ten minute walk and so many great restaurants too. No need for car rental unless you want to explore surrounding areas. We did have a few days trips to Lagos and surrounding beaching with was great when the weather was overcast. A very relaxing holiday with plenty of lovely walks and places to eat. We will definitely be back!

I wish there was an ice tray in the freezer. I also wish there was some kind of food or drink availability on the property. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean

It was an incredible spot. I would stay and would recommend. Two negatives were communication around food/bar... We were told a few different times that they had a pool bar open, even when we checked in. Nonetheless it never was, and when we asked other stay they said "they did not know'. Ultimately, that did not matter as the location of rooms to the pool were extremely close. 2nd point was having a room cleaned every 3 days (we were there for 8 nights). We were happy with that and no complaints other than our rooms was only cleaned the first time after 3 days, never again. Honestly, we didn't care, just again, some poor communication, or false expectations. Realistically, I have recommended this hotel already to other friends, brought more family and we all would travel there again.

Beautiful villas and pool on landscaped gardens above spectacular coastal walk.

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate my girlfriend and me. Gave my long distance girlfriend and I a special charcuterie and bottle of wine since I told them I haven’t seen her in a long time. Great place for couples to stay with amazing location on the water in a cute town. There’s a nice supermarket near by to stock up the room with. Receptionist was amazing and made the stay some much more enjoyable. If you’re think about it or are hesitant trust me and stay here. Go on the sunset cruise out of albufeira harbor for a private barbecue on the beach and close up view of all the most famous caves.
