Team was very good

Great value for the money.

General: Very clean, orderly, good value, conveniently located hotel with welcoming helpful staff and a superb buffet breakfast. Room: Desk big enough, fridge new, room safe easy to use and bolted down. Multiple shelves, plenty of good hangers. Big vertical mirror. Mini-bar. All outlets work. Natural light plus slightly inadequate electric lighting (I like bright not subdued). SatTV is Russian and Ukrainian language only. Catch up on Belarussian news. WC: Large. Shower is new, water is hot, soap dispenser and liquids to take into shower. Decent towels. Value: The cash paid at premises rate less than than listed on Hotels.com. I double-checked that breakfast was indeed included, and 'yes'. Indeed it was. Location: Quiet street not far walk to buses. Short walk to large mini-supermarket. Businessman's hotel directly across the street. Hospital and church on same block. Food: Worth staying here just for hearty breakfast: pumpkin puree, sauerkraut, beans (cold!), rye bread, soft and hard cheese, pickles, and many non-vegetarian choices also. Teas plus espresso & Americano coffee machine, several (5?) cool drinks, etc. Downsides: In very cheapest room (102) on ground floor, you will hear both the front desk chatter, guest traffic using the noisy exterior door to the dining room annex and cleaner's closet. Wooden doors lack adequate cushioning. Management: Staff attentive and some speak English. Family-owned rather than corporate or State.

Good breakfast, quiet, friendly staff.

Very close to Arcadia Beach area and pretty good for people like me who can go up stairs. There is no elevator.

I had a short one week stay. The location was close to my personal points of interest. Stuff was very friendly and accommodating. For summer family vacation this, I imagine, would be a great location.

Every aspect of the visit at the Geneva Resort Hotel was excellent including the staff, the room, service, quality of breakfast and the cost.Of particular merit was the friendliness and availability of the staff and a willingness to help with any request.

Finding good reasonably priced hotels are almost impossible in former Soviet Space. This place is a rare gem. Quiet and convenient location, great and friendly staff, ten minute walk to Arcadia and a decent breakfast this hotel has everything you need for an Odessa trip. I recommend this place during the summer months as its located in beach area which is dead in the off season. Otherwise its a 15-20 minute cab ride to the center.

Great hotel 10 min walk from Arkadia Beach. On the other hand, about 20 min taxi ride and 1 hour bus ride from city center of Odessa. The hotel was great; the staff very nice with flawless English, and a very nice complimentary breakfast.

Really great service and good clean breakfast, however the doors in the hallway kept us up all night.

For the Ukraine, this is a really nice and modern hotel with clear rooms and good beds. It has all the modern equipment that you can expect from a hotel. The hotel is within walking distance (15 mins) of Arcadia beach, but at 5-6 km from the Opera. So to get downtown, you need a cab, which the hotel will be happy to get you. The way back is more difficult though: Most downtown cabbies don't want to drive this far and ask > 100 UAH to drive you back. It's really a hassle.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was only 15 minutes to Arcadia beach. Rooms were good size with nice beds. Would stay there again.

The lady`s on the reception were very kind and both spoke English. The room was exceptional good for the price I paid. Including breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms. I will visit next time again. Thanks

This hotel was built this past summer and has many things close by that are all within walking distance. The receptionists at the hotel are very sweet and will go out of their way to help you if you need a pharmacy or good resturant. If you are at this hotel and want to go to city center, just ask directions to bus stop (15 minute walk towards Mcdonalds) and either take bus 185 or bus 242 (numbers are posted on windshield) and for 3 UAH just ride the bus until it is parked in city center. It is obvious where they stop at because the driver's take a break and another bus with same number departs again. Plus, if you stay on the bus until it stops for its break, you know where to walk to get back on the same bus to get back to Arkadia area. If you are interested in a gym, Arkadia Plaza Hotel is about 15 minute walk and for 120 UAH a day, you can use their decent gym. I have stayed at Arkadia Plaza Hotel also in 2009 and it was a pretty decent hotel also. But back here at Geneva, I toured one of the other Geneva Hotels in city center and it is very nice also. Wi-fi is perfect here and if it does slow down for any reason, just ask reception to reset it (which they know how to) and it works fine again. Receptionists speak good english, and there is a small shop right accross the street from hotel that have water, beer, and snacks for the stay. Free breakfast is decent which includes, fruit, tea, coffee, cheese, meat, bread/toast, hard boiled egg.
