Lovely overnight stay. Wonderfully friendly staff.

Great location, hidden gem, my room was right above the glacier run-off, peaceful. Rooms are tiny though!!

Avoid this hotel if you can. It has a great location but sadly that's all it has to offer. WiFi is very bad. Disconnects every 5 mins. There is 1 shared bathroom for 5 rooms, so you have to fight for the spot. Also, the room has kettle and coffee machine but there's no way to plug it. Room with double bed has very little space. If you have 2 full size luggage, you can't open them. There is no staff after 3 pm so any problem, you are on your own. It's just too expensive for what it has to offer with too many missing things.

Our room #4 was amazing with a big deck and Awesome view of the Matterhorn. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. The location is perfect in the center of town. The room came with a full breakfast and they cook eggs any way you want.

We had a wonderful stay here. Hotel is close to everything. Check in instruction was clear and we had no problem self check in. Our room was wonderful, big and with private bathroom. I booked the Matterhorn view with balcony room and boy it is worth it. The staffs are kind and nice and breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend this hotel. Ch

I loved this hotel! The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful - it felt as though I was part of a family! And the location is right by a bus stop, which saves a lot on taxi fares, though it’s a very short walk to all the activity. And I had an amazing view of the Matterhorn and overlooked the river and the picturesque original houses.

We’ve been to 5 cities and had 5 hotels, so far, Le Mazot was the best! We were able to check in early, room was ready. We were notified a few days earlier about our room, code at front door, etc. The best was breakfast was included with the room. Variety of choices, staff was great! Highly recommended when you’re in Zermatt!

Our room was delightful. We stayed in room 7 and had a small balcony with a phenomenal view of the Matterhorn. The attached bathroom was perfect. Breakfast was included and our hostess Valentina was just delightful. We did not evening dine at the restaurant downstairs, but we did have a carryout pizza from Marlo‘s, which is just up the street and was around 22 CHF for a decent size pizza. My son and I sat on the balcony and had pizza enjoyed the tremendous view. I could not imagine any restaurant in town would have a better vantage point than what we experienced. The hotel is centrally located and easy to walk to anywhere. The train station was about a six minute walk.

It has a quiet charm about it and is in a timber built building of some age. There was an excellent restaurant under the property which we used twice as it was that good. I have only awarded the property 3 stars as our room had no integral bathroom and the use of shared facilities was cumbersome.

Beautiful view, nice room with private bath, large patio to sit and look at the Matterhorn. The only issue I had was the room above my room, the guest upstairs were making noise, all hours of the night. I hope you get more respectful neighbors.

Fantastic stay! The staff were really welcoming and the breakfast was great. They even went out of their way to cater to our dietary requirements which we really appreciated. We stayed in a double room which was spacious and comfortable. Our only negative was that the floors weren’t very clean, there was hair everywhere.

If you're up for a little adventure, step outside around 5 a.m. or 10 p.m. In early June—you may just catch the full majesty of the Matterhorn in all its quiet beauty. The hotel itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe, with warm-toned wooden interiors that make you feel right at home. The room was thoughtfully designed, spotlessly clean, and super comfortable—just what you want after a day of exploring. The attached restaurant strikes a perfect balance between elegance and casual charm, making it a great spot to unwind. And don’t miss breakfast—it’s served in a separate room with a lovely view of the nearby river. A peaceful way to start the day!

Phenomenal view of the Matterhorn from the balcony on Room #8. Perfect location right in the middle of town, close to restaurants and shops, and nicely located looking over the river. 5-10 minute easy walk from the train station. Delicious breakfast in the morning. Comfortable beds, nice and clean bathroom. Highly recommend!

The boutique hotel location is excellent, right at the town centre, very convenient to walk to everywhere. Bus stop is close by. We were given a free upgrade to the Panoramic Matterhorn view room. We could enjoy the spectacular view of the Matterhorn either in bed or at the balcony. The room also comes with a spacious bathroom with a bathtub. The staff are very friendly and the included breakfast has good selection. We had a very pleasant stay! Highly recommend for that price range.

Great location from our room we could not see the Mattahorn, but within 20 steps of the front door there is a wonderful view. The room was clean and had everything we expected. Shared bathroom just across the hall was not a problem at all very clean. Walking distance to Train stations, and all of the shops.
