Do not use the postcode alone as it takes you further up the road to the wrong property. Only stayed for 2 nights while we did the big hike marathon but the property was very nice, it could do with a little TLC for minor things on the decor but nothing that really bothered us. Very close to Bakewell & a lovely pub over the road with nice food & service. Bit tight on parking but we managed to get on no problem. All in all a lovely stay & would like to return again.

Awful property, don't book it. Paint peeling off on every ceiling. Wallpaper coming away from the wall in the main bedroom. Second bedroom is very small. We booked it as a couple, if 2 couples book it....good luck! Bedroom furniture is lacking to say the least for both rooms. Thankfully I always take a candle with me, take one,the property is far from fresh. All woodwork paint damaged. Bathroom needs replacing, the bath panel is not even attached to the wall. Both beds needs replacing, mattresses are awful. Drive is very small for 2 cars, with several slabs not fixed. I fell off the drive & then noticed how bad it was. You are opposite the main carpark for the town, getting in/off the drive can be hard at times. Rear shared garden is not secure, or with lights. Take everything with you,you don't even get a pint of milk. You get tea towels, a washing up brush & 100ml of washing up liquid & that's it, considering the cost. Their risk assessment on the wall is out of date. No recycling facilities. I spent over an hour cleaning when we gained access,no one had been at the property for a while, considering the post that was on the mat & the standard we found. Don't book, awful property.
