The hotel had plenty of character, but it fell short when it came to comfort\. In my opinion, it did not feel like a four\-star hotel\. The suite was much smaller than expected, with very limited space to move around or unpack comfortably\. We only had carry\-on luggage, and the room already felt cramped\. I’m not sure how guests with larger suitcases would manage\. The extra bed was essentially a bench with a mattress on top\. It would slide when sitting or sleeping on it and made noise throughout the night, making it uncomfortable to sleep on\. The staff were friendly and accommodated our request for an early check\-in for an additional fee, which we appreciated\. However, when we were assigned a room on a lower floor, I asked if an upper\-floor room was available\. The response made it feel as though we were asking for a special favor, even though we had paid for the early check\-in\. Perhaps I wrongly assumed there would be other room options\. Unfortunately, staying on a lower floor meant dealing with noise from both neighboring rooms and the garden area, which affected our stay\. Considering the price we paid, the suite was disappointingly small and did not offer the level of comfort we expected\. The location is a positive, as it is right by the waterfront and within walking distance of Nyhavn\. However, the surrounding area felt rather quiet and lacked atmosphere\. We had a lovely stay here. The room was very clean and well presented. Staff were friendly. We didn't have the breakfast, as there are lots of cafes and shops nearby. Convenient for lovely summer walks in the nearby parks, the Harbour Bus and the little Mermaid Statue.

No one came and cleaned or room so no coffee was available in our room for our early departure

Excellent location and the eco friendly amenities were a plus. Loved their spa and care products as well.

Lovely room and terrific location. Staff was accommodating but not excellent. Housekeeper put my partners toiletries case in the sink while cleaning and forgot to put back so was water logged from dripping sink.

Beautiful hotel with cozy rooms, amazing views, and a very comfortable bed. I also had dinner at the restaurant downstairs, and it was wonderful. My only complaint is that for such an expensive hotel, I expected better in-room amenities like an espresso machine and complimentary bottled water.

Wonderful room and amazing location

The hotel was ok, good location. For a suite, the room was again ok, nothing special. Bathroom was the best part. The hotel lacks a good bar area, very small seats at the bar and two seats inside. It really has to be nice weather to enjoy the outdoor area. They messed up the extras I ordered for the room, but were very apologetic. The staff were fantastic, very helpful. They are missing a trick by having the sauna etc on the roof and not a rooftop bar. If you like having a dark room, then try a different hotel. The windows only had blinds, so it was full daylight in the room as soon as sun was up. The hotel is quirky which would suit a lot of people.

Highly recommended. Medium sized hotel with boutique feel. Quiet location and easy travel to city centre and other sites (specially by excellent bikes which we hired from hotel). Good room, great shower and lovely toiletries! Very friendly and helpful staff. Small but very pleasant spa and rooftop lounge area. As vegetarians we did not eat in restaurant but the breakfast was worth at least one visit.

This is a gorgeous hotel in a wonderful location. The staff is attentive and kind, and the rooms are attractive and comfortable. The rooftop deck with spa was the cherry on top of the sundae.

Make sure you ask about what’s available. The counter just at check in was not very informative

We had a lovely time at the Babette Guldsmeden! The room was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. The location is also very convenient and quiet, close to the park and an easy walk or short bike ride to major sites. The only downside was the hotel restaurant - I would avoid it for dinner as there are many better places within a short walk. But overall, one of our best hotel experiences in a long time! We look forward to returning here next time we're in Copenhagen.
