Single room which as it was pride weekend was a little overpriced but expected. Nice quiet room which their was only one gripe as there was no kettle to make a cup of tea!

The room was a bit dated and could do with small repairs. Bathroom shelf not fixed properly to wall. Wooden windows rattling. Lock on bathroom tough to use.

Large rooms were great although very basic, stairs are hard for those with mobility issues like myself

Was no toilet paper but overall I would recommend them

Bit of a problem at check in which was sorted straight away , great friendly helpful staff , my room was great , had a bath and shower , red hot water, slept like a log .

I needed a last-minute no-frills one-night stay in central Hove. The Langford fitted the bill perfectly. Large clean en-suite room, comfy bed, and an extremely helpful and cheerful porter who was there for me checking in at 23:30 and then checking out at 07:30. The hotel could benefit from a decor refresh, but for the price I paid for my room, I couldn’t have asked for more. Great value.

Found a used thong in the draw and the place is run down. No toilet roll in the bathroom Bed was broken and the mattress springs was also broken

You get what you pay for

Was top class many years ago. Now needs refurbishment, but because of this it's cheap. And still comfortable, and I had a big bed in a very nice room.

1. Not disabled friendly. A disabled personal cannot climb 3 stairs with the luggage. 2. Dirty carpets, walls, stair case and rooms with full of dust. Room was not cleaned or not being in use for a long time. It was smelling bad. 3. Flush does not work 4. No proper water pressure in the sink 5. No hot water. 6. loft was converted into tiny rooms and over priced. £95 per night for dirty, smelling room. I won't stay here even if they offer free accommodation.

They had painted the room day before, room had a very strong paimt smell.

The structure of the hotel is very old, the window didnt close properly, the beds were worn out, there was an old smell within the property, the hotel room didnt have a lock, the initial main bathroom light didnt work, no breakfast options.

The parking arrangements are non existent - beware! I specifically filtered hotels with parking facilities - they give the impression they have their own parking available - its simple street parking, which you pay for via an app. It's not clear which app - but it's PayByPhone in Brighton&Hove The shower area in the bathroom had not been cleaned properly - there were shaving clippings stuck to the tiling in the shower. The decor in the hotel generally inside looked tired and old and worn. The fire alarm randomly went off about 10pm prompting panic and screaming and a general hub bub which carried on most of the night. The TV in the room doesn't work despute having an aerial lead plugged (loosely) into the wall, so that needs checking! There was a working kettle and tea and coffee.

AVOID! They couldn’t house us due to a ‘leak’, they switched our hotel the night before when it was too late for us to find alternative accommodation. (Not via Hotels.com) The alternative hotel (Albion, Hove) was awful, the curtains were see-through, bed was broken and there was no shower, just a water pipe 😂 (see pic). We were promised a refund but they then refused this. Hotels.com wouldn’t refund us either so I claimed a full refund via Monzo disputes and would urge anyone else to do the same. The OYO hotel group is a scam, not to be trusted.

I booked a room for an overnight stay to visit the dentist. At £40, even in February, one can't be be too picky about the quality. The paintwork in the room was tired, the fan in the bathroom on its last legs and very noisy, the carpet grubby. However the bathroom itself was very clean and the mattress newish and comfortable. The communal areas were OK, though the staircarpet was stained in places. Overall, OK for the price, but could do with some new (or cleaned) carpets, at least.
