Rooms with super aesthetic, healing views, fresh air directly from the mountains... especially in the morning mist, it feels like a staycation above the clouds... the downside is that the food is mostly western food and transportation is inadequate.

Completely unsuitable for people with disabilities and the elderly. No elevator or accessibility. Government regulations due to earthquake risk. Very cramped rooms at a fairly high price. The view is pleasant. The interior designer needs to rethink the cabinetry; it's not very functional. Other than that, it makes me want to linger here.

We stayed for one night in Room 303. The view of Mount Batur from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking. The sunrise, in particular, was truly spectacular. The hotel staff, as well as the restaurant staff, were caring, attentive, and polite. The hotel has a fresh, modern interior, and the rooms are dry and comfortable, with dry bedding (which is not always a given in this area). The access road to the hotel is convenient, and there is ample parking. We were traveling by car, and having easy road access and parking was one of our main requirements. Now for the downsides: 1. Noise insulation is practically non-existent. At around 5:00 a.m., the staff start preparing for breakfast. It sounded like furniture was being moved, cleaning was taking place, and various items were being dropped. If you stay on the third level, you can expect an early wake-up call. In addition, many guests come specifically to take photos of the sunrise. If the noise from the breakfast preparations doesn't wake you up at 5:00 a.m., the voices and laughter of other guests likely will at around 6:00 a.m. 2. Breakfast. We had breakfast at Montana Café (Great Breakfast). The food was extremely greasy. Even the bread appeared to be fried in oil. I would not recommend it if you prefer lighter meals. There was simply too much oil in everything we ordered. 3. The room gets very hot after sunrise. After breakfast, I returned to the room to collect our belongings. It was around 8:00 a.m., and the room had already become quite stuffy due to direct sunlight. The air conditioning and blackout curtains were not sufficient to keep the room cool. Overall: If your priorities are a dry and comfortable room, dry bedding, convenient parking, and an incredible sunrise view, then this hotel delivers on all of those points. Just be prepared for an early morning, whether you planned for one or not.

Staff is nice and friendly. Very welcoming. No lift, so need to climb stairs. No ironing board in the hotel. No laundry services. Need to go out to send for laundry or ironing. Room is clean. Aircon is hidden when you lie down on the bed, so need to switch on the fan. View is outstanding! Front desk very responsive. Room service is good and fast. You can choose from 2 different cafes: Montana and El Lago.

An amazing experience, a room with a balcony directly facing the mountain, sunrise, friendly staff and of course super delicious unagi rice....

Great stay with amazing views, clean rooms, friendly staff, and good food. The only drawback is that there is no elevator, so guests need to use the stairs. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

The hotel location is very easy to find, next to the cafe, the room is very clean, the view is very beautiful, the room I booked was only for 2 people, because I was three with my child, then an additional charge of 350 included breakfast, for breakfast a menu will be sent that we can order via WA, the food is delicious, not only selling the view, but the taste of the food is also recommended. The staff are all friendly, oh yes there is no elevator, so you have to be prepared to go up and down the stairs, so far so good, really like staying here.

Amazing!!! 2 days staying at El Lago was an incredibly enjoyable experience 😁👍🏻. The staff were all very friendly, especially the restaurant staff, they served me wholeheartedly 👍🏻 and the room also had a direct view of the mountain ♥️. All amenities were complete, great. Guaranteed to come back here again if I go to Kintamani ♥️👍🏻
