A kids-friendly hotel with all the staff being very helpful and friendly. Moreover, there's a sandpit that makes the kids really feel at home. The playground is also a 'real playground', not just for show. Because it's quite spacious and has quite a lot of games. I requested early check-in, but they were accommodated because the room was already available. I was very satisfied with all the services during my staycation here. Thank you.

I had a really pleasant stay at Trans Hotel Jakarta, especially since I celebrated my birthday there. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was warm and relaxing. I also requested a simple complimentary birthday setup; the mirror decoration, towel arrangement, and cake turned out to be so cute and lovely! It made the birthday stay feel extra special. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall I had a very enjoyable experience. I’d definitely be happy to stay here again.

Upon check-in, the receptionist reminded me not to wear my slippers to the lounge or breakfast. I already knew this because I've stayed at The Trans Hotel in Bandung and Bali, even at more luxurious hotels like the Kempinski Jakarta or Apurva Kempinski Bali. The next morning, during breakfast, I noticed a guest wearing their slippers. I immediately took a photo as evidence to show to the front desk. At the Kempinski, the restaurant immediately tells guests to return to their rooms to change into their slippers. I've witnessed this myself. So, the information the receptionist gave me doesn't apply to every guest. This is what makes the service rating poor.
