New building - fully accessible one bedroom apartment with kitchen. Access to a nice gym and other common areas. Just a short walk to the subway in a very central location. On line check in instructions were a little confusing because it said check in started at 4:00 but if you arrive after 3:30 you should contact the hotel in advance. In fact the reception area was staffed from 7:00 to midnight. You can stow your bags. Excellent value for money. There is no breakfast so pack some food for the kitchen. No TV so make sure you have your device for viewing.

It’s close to Bloor street and the ROM. Has a ungerground station close by. Great location for getting around the city

Excellent location. Very clean and quiet. Air conditioning was excellent and can be controlled in each room. No towels on first night, but towels arrived the next morning.

Our experience at Oak House was highly satisfactory. While the accommodations are modest, they offer a comfortable and exceptionally clean environment. The rooms, though compact, are well-appointed with all the essential amenities for a straightforward stay.

Clean rooms, nice staff. It’s university halls so go in expecting that- shared bathrooms, but it was great for us who just needed a place to sleep for a couple of nights.

Not your typical place to stay but it worked well for us. Two single beds in adjoining rooms with a bathroom in between the two rooms. Would stay here again. Fair price for what you get.

My wife stayed here for business and has even suggested that people form her company stay here when they come to meetings in the downtown Toronto area. She absolutely loved the unit, the view, and the neighborhood! She will be a regular!!!

Like one would expect from u of t, it's an above average student residence. It's two beds in two different corridor-like spaces joined by a prefunctionary bathroom. The beds are slightly bigger than my daughter's grade school crib, but everything is clean. Nothing screams lap of luxury, but it also does not scream flop house. It's doable, but in a prime Toronto location.

It’s not a hotel. No room service unless until a week. U have to get toilet paper and hair dryer etc at reception. An ID hold required for hair dryer. Shower is most unsatisfactory. Shower head is weak and non adjustable. When the water hit the body, it feels like a line of slow running water and takes forever to wash off the soap on ur body. No hung dish to hold anything, u have to bend down to get the bottles of washing products from the floor. The top of the mattress is 30 in from the floor, no step stool or even a stable chair provided to help getting up. A traveler, unlike a semester student, doesn’t have the tool nor the time to make life comfortable in that room, we do expect the convenience and comfort provided.
