Everybody was fine. The hotel was fine, good location, the ad was misleading about the breakfast. It did say continental breakfast “available “ when I booked, but when I asked, reception told me there was no breakfast. To be fair she was dealing with a guest, (there was a pause so I just asked where it was located?) her response made it sound like I was making it up. I wasn’t in the mood to argue about it, but I did verify when I got back to my room and the ad is very misleading. Honestly I don’t care, but it was a deciding factor since I was traveling with my daughter.

Weekend staff not as good as week day staff, they were awesome! Helpful advice on places to go and assistance with room and bag storage. Thankfully a portable air conditioner was placed in our room, certainly needed it as days were 30+ and nights in the low to mid 20’s. Wifi was not great, even the television buffered. Location was great for us, easy access to most things and in a quieter area. Would recommend to others.

The staff are exceptional. And the rooms are fully fitted out with all mod cons. And you can't beat the location. Would definitely recommend.

The location is great. There is an air con in the room. There is also a lift to carry the luggage upstairs. Too bad when we checked out, the lift is out of order so we have to carry the luggage downstairs. The room is spacious but the restroom is very small. Overall, I will recommend this hotel.

Underrated lodging….it is located in the heart of Old Town Zurich. The Ass Bar pastry/ coffee shop is steps away. They wisely included window air conditioner…I wouldn’t have survived without it. The price was an amazing value….especially since the majority of your time will be spent enjoying the sights. 😊

We chose this hotel based on previous reviews and location. Staff super friendly and helpful. This week was unusually hot and they had a portable AC in the room which was fantastic. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and you can walk to the train station in 10 minutes or 4 by tram. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again in my next trip to Zurich.

Hotel is in a very convenient location. But the room is really small, and AC is very loud.

We had to walk around the city with our luggage because there was no reception until noon and the door is locked with a code, and the one that was sent to us didn’t work Even when the staff arrived we had to wait quite some time until the room was ready

This was tge worst of all the hotels in this trip. I have no idea how Expedia came up with a 3 star rating. This is not a hotel may be a hostel. Very bare bones and no amenities. The room was small shower stall the smallest I have ever seen. They had a room air conditioner with a big tube going out the window. So the window cannot close and there was a public square just outside so it was noisy. We tried to spend as much time as we possibly can outside the room Its a total waste of our money Expedia should remove it from the listings

The front staff, especially one in particular, Duygu(not sure of spelling) was exceptional. She answered every question, gave many suggestions and greeted us warmly each time she saw us. What an asset to that hotel.

The hotel was in a very good location, very close to everything. The hotel room and bathroom were very small, but I understand, that is normal for Europe. We arrived a the hotel around 11 am, our room wasn't ready yet. We were able to leave our luggage and walk around. We came back at 2:45 pm and the room was still not ready. We were told to come back in 15 min. We did come back in 15 min and the room was ready.

Location was perfectly central and in a lively location. Room attributes were very good, good size, extremely clean, bathroom clean and modern. This hotel has a lift. And most importantly the 2 ladies on front desk were extremely helpful with suggestions and recommendations. A great stay.

The front office staffs are very friendly. The hotel is very centrally located in the old town with a lot of restaurants in walking distance. The weekend can get a little noisy from the street. The WiFi is extremely unreliable. The room is spacious but Bathroom is very tight can fit one person at the time. We had do no disturb sign on in the morning but housekeeping open the door without even knocking at 8am which is terrible. We were told that some don’t speak English but the sign has a sleeping symbol on it which is universal. Thankfully we were awake and stopped them coming in right away.

Loved this place! Was right in walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, and sights. We stayed in a room that sleeps three, and were pleasantly surprised when we got to our room and had a bottle of wine and a terrace off of our room! We also arrived early and the front desk had no problem holding our bags and even bringing them into the room for us when the room was ready. Would highly recommend!

My room was not cleaned for the first 2 days of my stay. I had to beg to have it cleaned and it finally was on my third last day of stay.

The rooms are small, but they have everything. The time that I stayed, temperatures were elevated, and the room has NO air condition. Only a Dyson that cools the room down a little bit.

This hotel has some serious problems. The worst is that for some reason, it appears the keys open any room doors. This happened to me twice during my stay where someone else got into my room. I had to double secure it to avoid people getting in. Totally unacceptable. There's no receptionist 24/7 so when I left I basically left the property with zero assistance. Another issue, despite this is not the staff's fault is that this hotel is right on one of the busiest streets in Zurich, so I stayed on a Friday night and I simply couldn't sleep because of the noise. Maybe better acoustic insulation on the windows? Overall a bad experience, I wouldn't recommend.
